Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the freshman and sophomore cross country runners for their outstanding performance last night!! Calvin Mass and Riley Wenger lead the sophomore teams and James McNally and Hallie Kurtz lead the freshman teams!! Congratulations to all who ran and cheered last night.

Congratulations to the Lions' Roar newspaper staff for a first place award at the state conference! Congratulations to the Cor Lionis yearbook staff for winning three awards for design for last year's book at the state conference! Way to go journalists!


Club Announcements:

You know you have meaning to try yoga for stress relief, strength and flexibility! Come to the theater lobby today from 2:30-3 and do yoga with Club Balance. Everyone is welcome.

FBLA will meet this Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:20 pm in room 124. Membership Packets, Dues, and Fundraiser money is due. We will have two business professionals joining us so please be on time.

FBLA competition workshops are here! Stop by the Business office for information on dates and times of workshops for FBLA competition. This is an opportunity to learn about what competitions are available and how to prepare for them! Workshops will be held in room 124 from 2:20 pm to 3:00 pm.

Do you like Chick-fil-A? Eat at Chick-fil-A at Santa Fe & Oxford on Thursday, October 22, 2009 and you will be supporting Littleton FBLA! Just let the cashier know that you are supporting Littleton FBLA and they will give you an extra receipt to place in a box in the dining room to support our cause! Sports Announcements:

Come cheer on the Cross Country teams as they battle to qualify for the state meet this Friday at Clement Park at 3:30pm!

All boys interested in playing basketball this year for Littleton High School must come to a meeting in the forum on Monday, Nov. 2, at 3:30pm. If you are still in fall sports, see Coach Van ASAP to get your handout for the season.

Interested in playing Ice Hockey? Ice Hockey is offered at Heritage High School. Preseason meeting is tomorrow Wednesday, October 21 at Heritage High School 7:00 pm.

C Team Boys Soccer please get uniforms washed and gear together. We will be collecting your kit after school 2:30 this Wednesday at the bin room.

Attention all current or new women lacrosse players! There is a mandatory player/parent meeting on Wednesday, October 21 from 7-8:30 pm at Heritage High School in room 336. Please plan to attend the meeting to gather information, forms, and find out more about our terrific team. Each player must bring at least one parent. Our team always welcomes new players, so bring a friend.

If you plan on playing baseball this spring 2010, it is important for you to pickup a packet from Coach Vanoni on even days (pd 2 or afterschool - East End PE OFFICE) or (pd 4, 6 – Weight room). If you attended the September 30th meeting, you still need to pickup an additional packet.


Academic Announcements:

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.

SENIORS-IT’S HERE!! Swim Waiver Test will be Wed., Nov. 18, 8:00 sharp!! Sign-up in the counseling office. Space is limited to the first 30 students; we will open to juniors if there is space available after Nov. 16.

Space is still available for the PLAN test on Sat., Nov. 7. Cost is $20, please sign-up in the counseling office.

For all interested juniors and seniors, Post Secondary Educational Opportunities are available for you! This is where you co-enroll in college while in high school! Please see your counselor for questions – applications are due on October 27th!
