Student Recognition & Congratulations:
The Boys tennis teams completed their regular seasons last week with victories over Mountain Vista and Chaparral. The JV completed their season with a record of 8-2, while the varsity was 7-3 and is going to the regional tournament this Wednesday and Thursday. 10 seniors are completing their awesome tennis careers with LHS, including Co-Captains Peter Blei and Konrad Moss, doubles stars Alex Leovic, Eric Schunk, Kevin Dibala, Jack Wheeler, Alec Segall, and JV stalwarts Andrew Ellermann, Mike McCoy and Broc Baird. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Tonight the LHS Lion Volleyball Program is honoring this special cause. Baked goods will be sold throughout the day, at the volleyball matches, and there will be a raffle during the varsity match to help earn money for Breast Cancer Research. Come to the home volleyball match tonight and wear PINK!!! If you wear pink you will receive a free raffle ticket! All other raffle tickets may be purchased for $1.00. Come support your Lady Lion Volleyball Team and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month! WEAR PINK!!!
Any girls interested in basketball and not participating in fall sports should come to pre-season practices on Tuesday nights from 7:00pm-8:30pm now through November 3rd.
