Academic Announcements:

Students interested in cosmetology school can visit with representatives from the Empire Beauty School today, in the Counseling Office at 10 am. If you would like more information please see Mrs. Allen in Post Grad.

Swim Test Waiver Reminder: IF you have already signed up to take the swim test waiver on Wed., Nov. 18—you MUST bring your photo ID and be at the pool, dressed and READY to swim at 8:00 tomorrow Wed., Nov. 18. Space is limited and does require you to sign up in the counseling office.

Spring 2010 Student Schedules will be available for students to view on Infinite Campus beginning Nov. 24. If you need to make any adjustments, you must print a copy of your schedule and plan to attend during an OFF HOUR in the Counseling Office on your Class scheduled day between 8:00 am to 2:00 pm: Seniors, Dec. 1st-4th; Juniors Dec. 7th, Sophomores, Dec. 8th and Freshmen Dec. 9th.

Welcome to the 2nd day of International Week! Here is the brief schedule of today's events:

1st Block in the Forum: Social Studies Teacher Kathy Prestel will give a presentation on East Africa and her experience assisting the Musana Children's Home in Uganda

2nd Block in the Forum: Social Studies Teacher James Gordon will present on school building projects in Kenya and the summer 2010 Kenya Service and Study Trip for students3rd Block in the Forum: The Spanish film "Tango" will be shown starting at 10:30am

4th Block in the Forum: The film "Boys of Baraka" from Kenya and the U.S. will be shown

Do you want to see the best talent around?! This year’s Lion’s Follies has comedy, bands, singers, and dancers galore!! Student Council will be selling tickets starting today in the cafeteria for both the Friday and the Saturday night shows. The tickets are $5 and with the Friday night show, get a Qdoba coupon for free!!! The shows are here on the LHS Mane Stage starting at 7pm Friday and 6pm Saturday—HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!
