Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the boys tennis team for their 7-0 victory against Rangeview

Congrats to the Freshman B, Freshman A and Varsity volleyball teams in their defeat last night against the Rangeview Raiders. The varsity competes in the Eaglecrest tournament on Saturday the 19th -Come support your Lions!!

Are you the next LION AMBASSADOR? Ambassadors give tours to prospective students and families, and it’s a cool, fun opportunity to talk about why you LOVE Littleton! Today is the last day for you to sign up - Pick up an application from Mrs. Stulock in the IB Department and return it by today.

If you have not bought or picked up your Class T-shirt yet, there are still 2 more chances to do so!! TODAY-Friday. IN THE CAFÉ during and between both lunches, next Monday-the 21st during lunches and next Tuesday-22nd during and between lunches! If you have not bought one yet, they are only $5!! Come on out and grab your shirt so you can wear it to the HOMECOMING ASSEMBLY next week!!


“Homecoming Dance”
The guest forms are ready to be picked up in the main office or student services for the Homecoming dance on September 26, 2009. If you are bringing an out of school guest, please fill one out and return it to student services no later than, Thursday, September 24th.

Attention Seniors: Josten’s will be back on Thursday Sept. 24th to pick up any late or missing orders for graduation announcements, rings, etc. The group discount will still be in place for this pick up date only. Any questions, please see student services for packets.

Attention All Students: Your school pictures have arrived! You can pick up yours today during lunches in the café hallway. Picture retakes will be on Monday, September 28. Stay tuned for more information.

Club Announcements:

Greetings philosophers! Philosophy Club will hold our second meeting today after school in Room 204. Want to argue your point of view or just hear some interesting ideas from others? Everyone is welcome. See you there.

Today is the last day for Freshman Class Student Council Ambassador interviews in room 208 from 2:20 until 3:00 pm.

The Peace Jam and International Affairs Club will meet between 2:20 and 2:50pm in room 206. Anyone with an interest in International and Human Rights Issues is welcome.

Did you miss the information on Girl’s diving yesterday? If so, stop by the main office today, pick up some information, and watch for the upcoming Swimming and Diving informational meeting!

Attention Girls Lacrosse Players: All Freshman and new players are invited to meet on Wednesday, September 23 from 7-9 pm at Heritage in the second floor lecture hall. Any girls interested in playing or finding out more about lacrosse may attend. We will be distributing player registration materials, answering questions and the best part-- introducing players to our head coach, Nikki.

Students interested in studying engineering in college have the opportunity to attend a free day long information program at CSU on Saturday, October 3. See Mrs. Allen in Post Grad for registration information…

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams for their outstanding races this past Saturday at the hilly and difficult Larkspur course! The majority of runners ran their season bests with our Runners of the week being: Varsity Girls - GRACE BRITTAN, Varsity Boys - JORY BAYNE, JV Girls - LONDON ULLRICH and JV Boys - CHIP BOLLENDONK. Congrats to all the runners!!!! Come out to support your runners at Heritage this Friday for the Liberty Bell Invite.

The lady lions defeated Legacy at home last night in 5 sets. The fan support was awesome, thank you for all of your positive support.

Stop by to ask questions, get some basic information about the upcoming season, and meet some of the returning divers! Diving is a great sport and our team has a blast! No experience necessary and beginners are welcome!

Come to the first meeting of Balance on Tuesday in art room 143 after school. We will do some easy yoga and talk about how this club can help you find Balance this year.
