Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The lady lions defeated the Douglas County Huskies 3 sets to 1 last night. Laura Whalen led the offense with 14 kills; while Alex Deines had 32 assists. Hannah Vadakin and Christina Simms both had four aces a piece.

Come see the Lions in action next Tuesday at home against Thunderidge. Help cheer on the girls as we recognize Breast Cancer awareness month.

Greetings philosophers! Philosophy Club will be meeting today after school in Room 204. Want to argue your point of view or just hear some interesting ideas from others? Everyone is welcome. See you there.

The Peace Jam and International Affairs Club will meet between 2:20 and 2:50pm in room 206. Anyone with an interest in International and Human Rights Issues is welcome.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for their performance at Rock Canyon’s inaugural meet. Riley Mulhern placed 4th overall and helped the boys varsity team to an 8th place finish. Chip Bollendonk lead the JV team to a 4th place finish. On the girls side Courtney Berg and Dana Gaetani placed in the top 20 and lead the Varsity girls to a 5th place finish. Taylor Schofield and Hailey Martin lead the JV girls to a 7th place finish. Congratulations also goes out to other Runners of the meet: James McNally, Varsity and Roy Penny, JV

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for their championship this weekend at the LHS Invitational Tennis Tournament. Individual winners included Seniors Konrad Moss, Alex Leovic, Eric Schunk, Peter Blei, Kevin Dibala, Jack Wheeler, Alec Segall, and Juniors Ben Williamson and Thomas Carson.
Last chances to see the Lions in action are Wednesday against Mountain Vista and Thursday against district rival Arapahoe. Be there!!
