Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Freshman A and Varsity Lady Lions for their last regular season victory over the Heritage Eagles. Thank you for the GREAT fan support…that helped with the incredible energy of the night! The 2009 varsity squad triumphed over the Eagles for first time in 8 years! Congratulations ladies! Good luck as you prepare for districts next week.


Club Announcements:

Have you ever wondered how you could help someone less fortunate than you? Well, Student Council can help you with this problem! WE are selling Halloween-O-Grams today and all of next week for only ONE DOLLAR! Halloween-O-Grams are messages you send to a friend with a HUUUUGE bag of candy as their present! This is a good time to tell that secret crush you have how much you like them, or to tell your friends how fun they are—etc… Just make sure your message is appropriate and Student Council will do the rest! So, find a Student Council member or see Ms Prestel up in the Social Studies office if you want to help out the Denver Rescue Mission AND send a friend some candy!

Come cheer on the Cross Country teams as they battle to qualify for the state meet this Friday at Clement Park at 3:30pm!

All boys interested in playing basketball this year for Littleton High School must come to a meeting in the forum on Monday, Nov. 2, at 3:30pm. If you are still in fall sports, see Coach Van ASAP to get your handout for the season.

Littleton Boys Lacrosse 2009/2010 kickoff meeting. Tuesday October 27th at 7:00pm in the Forum. New players and returning players should attend along with a parent. This is your chance to meet the coaches and get information for the upcoming season as well as Novemberfest information

LHS will be hosting an In-State College Night on Mon., Oct. 26, from 6:00-7:30 pm in the cafeteria. Over 40 schools in Colorado will be represented. All seniors are encouraged to attend. If you have questions, please stop by the counseling office. There will also be a financial aid session beginning at 5:30 pm in Room 133E.

For all interested juniors and seniors, Post Secondary Educational Opportunities are available for you! This is where you co-enroll in college while in high school! Please see your counselor for questions – applications are due on October 27th!

Clowning, acrobatics, over the top slapstick and so much more! Tonight at 7 pm, and tomorrow Saturday October 24th at 6pm. Tickets $5.00 students and adults, all senior citizens free.

FBLA competition workshops are here! Stop by the Business office for information on dates and times of workshops for FBLA competition. This is an opportunity to learn about what competitions are available and how to prepare for them! Workshops will be held in room 124 from 2:20 pm to 3:00 pm.

Do you like Chick-fil-A? Eat at Chick-fil-A at Santa Fe & Oxford today and you will be supporting Littleton FBLA! Just let the cashier know that you are supporting Littleton FBLA and they will give you an extra receipt to place in a box in the dining room to support our cause! Attention all current or new women lacrosse players! There is a mandatory player/parent meeting tonight from 7-8:30 pm at Heritage High School in room 336. Please plan to attend the meeting to gather information, forms, and find out more about our terrific team. Each player must bring at least one parent. Our team always welcomes new players, so bring a friend.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to The Lions' Roar newspaper staff, specifically Hayley Brooks, for a first place award at the state conference! Congratulations to the Cor Lionis yearbook staff for winning three awards for design for last year's book at the state conference! Way to go journalists!

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams as they battled some of the top in the state last Friday at the Continental league meet. Outstanding performances were had all around!

Boys’ Varsity soccer shocked Rangeview last Thursday with a thrilling 2-1 upset! Down 1-0, Ethan Sumlin scored on a 2nd half break-away, and Nick Bates buried a shot with 8 minutes left to steal the win. Come support the team in their final game Tuesday at 4 pm as they attempt to solidify a playoff spot versus Douglas County.
