1st Block in the Theater: Social Studies Teacher Greg Klein will give a presentation on Perspectives on Tibet and China

2nd Block in the Forum: Forum: LHS International studens wll present "Conflict and Resolution around the World: LHS' International Students Share Stories from their Countries of Origin"

3rd Block in the Forum: Guest Speaker Ms. Saskia Layden will give a presentation on AFS High School International Exchange Programs

4th Block in the Theater: There will be World Music Concert

For all Juniors and Seniors interested in any branch of the military, there will be an opportunity at Littleton to take the ASVAB Test (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery). This test helps determine which career path would be most successful for you as well as estimates what your ACT scores would be based on the ASVAB Score. Please see Ms. Geyer to sign up and get details by November 24th!

Students interested in cosmetology school can visit with representatives from the Empire Beauty School today, in the Counseling Office at 10 am. If you would like more information please see Mrs. Allen in Post Grad.

Swim Test Waiver Reminder: IF you have already signed up to take the swim test waiver on Wed., Nov. 18—you MUST bring your photo ID and be at the pool, dressed and READY to swim at 8:00 tomorrow Wed., Nov. 18. Space is limited and does require you to sign up in the counseling office.

Spring 2010 Student Schedules will be available for students to view on Infinite Campus beginning Nov. 24. If you need to make any adjustments, you must print a copy of your schedule and plan to attend during an OFF HOUR in the Counseling Office on your Class scheduled day between 8:00 am to 2:00 pm: Seniors, Dec. 1st-4th; Juniors Dec. 7th, Sophomores, Dec. 8th and Freshmen Dec. 9th.

Club Announcements:

Speech and Debate competed at the Turkey Meet this weekend. This tournament is the largest in the state, with 700 competitors and 30 different schools from Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Toby Jacob and Cameron Merrick are the tournament champions in Cross Examination Debate, Paige Kinsley and Scott Egleston are the tournament champions in Improv Pairs, Toby Jacob is the tournament champion for cross examination speaker awards, Grant Jossi placed 7th in Original Oratory, Tres Pittman and Daniel Thomas placed 5th in Cross Examination Debate, Reine (pronounced wren) Ibala placed 5th in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Abby Benkert placed 3rd in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Morgan Gold placed 14th in Drama, Vidya Ravilochan placed 12th in Drama, Lilli Hokama placed 4th in drama, Cassie Reid placed 9th in Poetry, Melissa Timmermeyer placed 5th in Poetry, Daniel Thomas placed 6th in Cross Examination speaker awards, Abby Benkert placed 5th in Lincoln Douglas speaker awards, Reine Ibala placed 2nd in Lincoln Douglas speaker awards, and the Littleton High School Speech and Debate Team placed 2nd in the overall team sweepstakes.
