Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Heritage/Littleton Women's Lacrosse team in their exciting triple overtime win against ThunderRidge. After a difficult first half, the team pulled together and produced an unforgettable win! Join the team as they take on Regis at Regis on Thursday night at 7 PM.

Congratulations to the following FBLA members for their fine finish at FBLA state conference: Matt Sattler 1st place – Job Interview, Jia Chu 2nd place – Business Calculations and Quincey Kippley 5th place – Future Business Leader. Matt and Jia have qualified for the National conference in Nashville, TN.

Club Announcements:

Tomorrow Thursday, April 22nd is the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day. During 1st, 2nd, and 4th Blocks there will be environmental issues related films played in the Forum. “Who killed the Electric Car” will be shown during 1st Block, “Planet Earth” will be shown during 2nd Block, and the animated film “Walle” will be shown during 4th Block. All are welcome.

Sports Announcements:

Attention all returning or future girls basketball players. There will be a meeting with Coach Williams in the Forum today at 2:30. Please plan to attend. Important spring summer workout information will be distributed. Also, please plan on attending the open gym sessions on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 pm.

Academic Announcements:

THE LHS ADVISEMENT applications for the 2010-2011 school year are due today! Applications can be found on the LHS website or in the main office.

Attention all ESL students! It’s almost time for summer school and once again scholarships are available. If you are interested in attending Summer Youth College at ACC, please go to the ESL office, room 119, and pick up an application today!

AP TESTS MANDATORY MEETING: Students must plan to attend one of the following meetings in the Forum:
April 22 6:50 a.m. or 2:15 p.m.
April 23 6:50 a.m. or 2:15 p.m.
April 27 6:50 a.m. or 2:15 p.m.

Special Events:

Bringing someone from another school to prom? Remember to pick up guest forms for Prom are in Student Services and are due on Friday.

Prom tickets will be on sale after school at the bookkeeper’s window. If you don’t buy tickets this week, you can buy them at the door.

Remember - You MUST have your current LHS school ID with you to attend Prom. If you have lost your ID remakes can be made in the library.

Photograph your prom night! Order forms for prom pictures are in the main office.

Other Announcements:

Seniors, Seniors, Seniors!! Graduation speech auditions will be held this week on Thursday, April 22 in room 151 after school. Sign up in the main office if you are interested. You will need to prepare a 3-minute speech. See Ms. Gobble or Ms. Fornstrom for more information.

First Bank Scholarship applications are now available in the Post Grad Center for seniors. To qualify you must have a 3.0 gpa or better and be attending a 2 or 4 year college or tech/trade school in Colorado. One $1,250.00 Scholarship will be awarded to one LHS senior… Deadline April 23rd.
