Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the boy’s tennis team. The varsity beat Rock Canyon 6-1, and the JV won their match 7-4 on Tuesday night.

Congratulations to the girl’s softball c team for their win last night over Stanley Lake 13-10.

Club Announcements:

ICE CREAM, ICE CREAM, who wants some ice cream? Come to the Club Ice Cream Carnival tomorrow during both lunches—the more clubs you visit, the more ice cream and toppings you get for your sundae! YUM! You can’t miss this fun event put on by Student Council and many of the clubs at LHS! Come on Freshmen, you know you want to be involved-find a club that you want to join, sophomores, time to start thinking about that college transcript-the more you do the better you look; juniors no more time to waste-show your leadership skills in one of our great clubs and seniors you rule the school, and what better place to show us your commitment to LHS than joining a club! See you on the Cafeteria patio A and B lunches Friday! Oh, by the way—ITS FREE!

We have a Technology Student Association meeting today right after school. Come join us, we’ll be announcing our new Historian and Parliamentarian. Homecoming float ideas will be discussed as well as many other items pertaining to the rest of the year, see you there! Room 150 – 2:20 to 3 pm.

Ultimate Lions Frisbee team will practice today from 2:30-4:15 on the grass. All are welcome to join. Games start in September.

FBLA will be holding a special election meeting today at 2:20 in Room 124. Your vote will count! Please be there so that we can elect our officers for this year and start planning a fantastic school year!

We’ll meet today after school in Room 204. The topic for discussion: Should government make laws to keep people from hurting themselves? Seatbelt laws, smoking laws, drug laws? Anyone is welcome to come. See you after school Thursday.

HEY LIONS!! Do you love Littleton? Are you really involved and enthusiastic? Apply to be a Student Ambassador tour guide. Pick up an application in the counseling department and return it by Sept. 13. See Mrs. Stulock for details.

Other Announcements:

For any seniors interested in applying to Montana State University in Bozeman, the 2011 Presidential Scholarship application form is now available. This scholarship includes a full tuition waiver as well as a generous stipend for four years. Please come to the Post Grad Center for more information.

Lockheed Martin tutoring will meet tonight at 6:00-7:30pm in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.
