Wanna be blown away by the slam/hip-hop sounds of Minor Disturbance, a prize-winning poetry troupe representing several Denver-area high schools? If so, come to the forum for The Edgar Allan POETRY SLAM at 3:00 today. Bring either a dollar or some original poetry to read, as an open-mic session will precede the featured performers.

Attention all BOYS' BASKETBALL Players: Please turn your physicals in to the athletic office before Nov. 12th. If anyone is interested in being a boy's basketball manager or statistician, please come at 4pm on Nov. 8 to the south gym for more information.
It’s Basketball time and that means your UNIFIED LIONS BASKETBALL Team needs you! Anyone interested in being a partner (no experience needed) for this years Unified basketball team please see Mrs. Encinias or Mrs. Stukey in room 106 for more details. There will be a short meeting November 8th at 2:30 in room 105.
Academic Announcements:
SWIM TEST: Signups for the swim test at Littleton High School will begin Mon., Nov. 1 in the Counseling Office. The test is Tues., Nov. 16 or Wed., Nov. 17, 2:30 pm sharp in the LHS pool. Registration is open to all LPS students in all grades and is limited to 30 students per session. To sign-up or for specific criteria for the test, stop by the Counseling Office.
JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES: DO not wait, register now for the practice ACT test, better known as the PLAN. Test date at LHS is Sat., Nov. 6, 7:30 am. Cost is $20, check made out to LHS or cash. You can register in the Counseling Office. Space is limited!!

Don’t miss it! TODAY AT 3:00PM the Thespian Troupe #83 invites you to their HAUNTED HOUSE. The fun begins in room 146--the theatre classroom---and continues throughout the entire theater. The cost is a mere two bucks. Start your Halloween weekend off with some asylum shenanigans.

NOVEMBERFEST is right around the corner! Plan on participating in all of the festivities on Saturday, November 13 at Littleton High School. Dinner will be catered by Dickey’s Barbecue from 5:30-8:00 in the cafeteria. Tickets are now available in the Athletic office for $10 per person. You can also purchase dinner tickets at the next two home football games; plan to purchase yours this Friday night, 7:00 pm at the game against Castleview. Pre-purchasing dinner tickets is highly recommended as a VERY limited number will be available at the door. The Novemberfest silent auction will begin at 5:30 and run until 8:45. This is a great opportunity to support Lions Athletics AND find great items to purchase in time for the holidays! Invite your friends and neighbors, too! Go Lions!
