Sports Announcements:

Girl’s basketball pre-season camp begins TODAY at 3:00-5:00 in the North gym and will continue through Thursday. All girls who plan to tryout for basketball are strongly encouraged to attend. Tryouts begin Friday from 3:00-4:30!

If anyone is interested in being a boy's basketball manager or statistician, please come at 4pm TODAY to the south gym for more information. Boys’ Basketball Players: your physicals are due to the athletic office before this Friday.

All athletes who want to participate in track this spring must attend the mandatory Track meeting on Wednesday after school in the forum. See Coach Brooks if you have any questions!

Attention all students interested in unified basketball.....there will be a player/parent meeting on Nov. 15th at 7:00pm in the north gym. This is also the first night of practice. If you have questions please contact Mrs. Stukey or Mrs. Encinias.

Booster Club Meeting!
Never been to a Booster Club meeting? Now is the perfect time! Please come:

We will be working on the upcoming Novemberfest, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13 from 5:30 - 10 pm at LHS. This is the annual fundraiser, and we hope you take part!

Academic Announcements:

SWIM TEST: Signups for the swim test at LHS are available in the Counseling Office. The test is Tues., Nov. 16 or Wed., Nov. 17, 2:30 pm sharp in the LHS pool. Registration is open to all LPS students in all grades and is limited to 30 students per session. Stop by the Counseling Office for details.

DO YOU WANT TO GO TO THE BEST SHOW IN TOWN!! Lions Follies, our school's variety show, is next Friday and Saturday 12th and 13th and it is going to be an AMAZING SHOW! Tickets go on sale this week and they are only 5 dollars! AND, if you decide to go on Friday night, your name will be entered into a drawing to win an IPod Nano--so find your friends and come to Lions Follies!

International Education Week is coming to LHS next week (November 15-19). International Education Week is a U.S Department of State and Education that aims to celebrate International Learning and Exchange. The schedule of events will be posted in the front lobby, and on the bulletin board outside the library. Feel welcome to attend events during your off hours, and of course we hope your teachers and classes will attend events through the week. Monday after school there will be a soccer tournament for students who form teams and sign up. See Mr. Puchino for details.
