The Peace Jam Club will meet today in room 206 between 2:20 and 2:45. International Education Week Planning will be the focus of the October and November's meetings. Sports Announcements:
ATTENTION LADY LIONFISH – There is an extremely important meeting this Thursday November 4th at 2:20pm in the pool area for all girls going out for swimming and diving this season. We will hand out practice times and order forms, as well as announce workout groups to start the season. This is a mandatory meeting. If for any reason you can not attend, please contact Coach Ervin of your intention to swim or dive this season. If you have not handed in your forms, physical, and participation fee as yet, please do so immediately! See you Thursday!
Don’t forget to attend the season finale of the 2010 Varsity football season. This Friday, November 5th Littleton will host Rock Canyon at 7 pm in the Littleton Public Schools Stadium. We will honor our seniors in their last home game for LHS. Come out and support the team!
It’s Basketball time and that means your Unified Lions Basketball Team needs you! Anyone interested in being a partner (no experience needed) for this years Unified basketball team please see Mrs. Encinias or Mrs. Stukey in room 106 for more details. There will be a short meeting November 8th at 2:30 in room 105.
Attention all Boys’ Basketball Players: Please turn your physicals in to the athletic office before Nov. 12th. If anyone is interested in being a boy's basketball manager or statistician, please come at 4pm on Nov. 8 to the south gym for more information.
Academic Announcements:
SWIM TEST: Signups for the swim test at LHS will begin Mon., Nov. 1 in the Counseling Office. The test is Tues., Nov. 16 or Wed., Nov. 17, 2:30 pm sharp in the LHS pool. Registration is open to all LPS students in all grades and is limited to 30 students per session. To sign-up or for specific criteria for the test, stop by the Counseling Office.
JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES: Have you signed up for the PLAN test yet? There’s still time –You can register in the Counseling Office. Test date is November 6th!
Tomorrow November 3rd these colleges will visit in Post Grad: Cornell College at 8:00 AM , Western State College of Colorado at 9:30 AM , Arapahoe Community College at 10:00 AM and Williams College at 12:00pm. Stop by Post Grad for more information!
