Student Recognition & Congratulations:

In an incredibly exciting match, the Boy’s varsity tennis team defeated Mountain Vista 4-3.

Boy’s JV soccer teams defeated Kennedy last night 10-0 and Varsity tied 1-1.
Go LIONS!!

Come to the Club Ice Cream Carnival today during both lunches—the more clubs you visit, the more ice cream and toppings you get for your sundae! YUM! Come on Freshmen, you know you want to be involved-find a club that you want to join, sophomores, time to start thinking about that college transcript-the more you do the better you look; juniors no more time to waste-show your leadership skills in one of our great clubs and seniors you rule the school, and what better place to show us your commitment to LHS than joining a club! Academic Announcements:

Student Services is looking for students who would like to be student assistants during their academic periods. The student must be in good academic standing and must not have any attendance problems. Students will attain 2 credit hours for assisting. Please contact Betsy Kailey for more information.

HEY LIONS!! Do you love Littleton? Are you really involved and enthusiastic? Apply to be a Student Ambassador tour guide. Pick up an application in the counseling department and return it by Sept. 13. See Mrs. Stulock for details.

Other Announcements:

For any seniors interested in applying to Montana State University in Bozeman, the 2011 Presidential Scholarship application form is now available. This scholarship includes a full tuition waiver as well as a generous stipend for four years. Please come to the Post Grad Center for more information.

Class t-shirts!! That’s right it’s time to wear the purple and gold of LHS! All class t-shirts will be available to be picked up or paid for on Thursday Sept. 9th during the Class Meetings. IF you have already paid for a class shirt, your name will be marked on a list; if you don’t think you have paid, bring $5 to the class meeting and buy your shirt then!! Then on Friday the 10th, wear your class shirt and get a chance to win some SPIRIT BUCKS!!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the boy’s tennis team. The varsity beat Rock Canyon 6-1, and the JV won their match 7-4 on Tuesday night.

Congratulations to the girl’s softball c team for their win last night over Stanley Lake 13-10.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Your Littleton High School "Lion Pride" Marching Band competed this past Saturday at the Colorado State Fair Parade and was recognized for their efforts with a 3rd place finish in their division and a 3rd place finish overall among 20 bands in competition that day. This is our highest combined placement ever at the State Fair Parade marching competition. Congratulations “Lion Pride” Band!!!

Ultimate Lions Frisbee team will practice today from 2:30-4:15 on the grass. All are welcome to join. Practice will take place on Thursday from 2:30-4:15, as well. Games start in September.

The LHS ping pong club will be meeting today in the cafeteria from 2:30 to 3:30. Come and challenge the grand master, Don Zolla!
