Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to Thomas Carson and Ben Williamson for being named Littleton High School Athletes of the Month for the month of September. Thomas and Ben are both members of our boy’s tennis team.

Congratulations to Garrett Sapakoff and Laura Whalen for being named male and female Littleton High School Athletes of the Month for the month of October. Garrett is a member of our boys cross country team and Laura is on our girls’ volleyball team.

Athletes of the Month: Please stop and see the Athletic Secretary to have your picture taken.

Never been to a Booster Club meeting? Now is the perfect time! Please come:

We will be working on the upcoming Novemberfest, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13 from 5:30 - 10 pm at LHS. This is the annual fundraiser, and we hope you take part!

Girls basketball preseason camp begins on Monday from 3:00-5:00 in the North gym and will continue through Thursday. All girls who plan to tryout for basketball are strongly encouraged to attend. Tryouts begin next Friday from 3:00-4:30!”

Anyone interested in being a partner (no experience needed) for this years Unified basketball team please see Mrs. Encinias or Mrs. Stukey in room 106 for more details. There will be a short meeting November 8th at 2:30 in room 105.

Attention all Boys’ Basketball Players: Please turn your physicals in to the athletic office before Nov. 12th. If anyone is interested in being a boy's basketball manager or statistician, please come at 4pm on Nov. 8 to the south gym for more information.

Registration is open to all LPS students in all grades and is limited to 30 students per session. Stop by the Counseling Office for details.

AND, if you decide to go on Friday night, your name will be entered into a drawing to win an IPod Nano--so find your friends and come to Lions Follies!

It is right around the corner! Novemberfest will be here soon, so get your dinner tickets in advance! Available from the Athletic office for $10 each, dinner will be catered by Dickey’s BBQ this year. ATTENTION LADY LIONFISH – There is a mandatory meeting TODAY at 2:20pm in the pool area for all girls going out for swimming and diving this season. We will hand out practice times and order forms, as well as announce workout groups to start the season. Be there!

Open gym for girl’s basketball tonight will be held from 5:00-7:00 rather than our usual time. We'll see all girls interested in trying out for LHS girl’s basketball on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th."

Congratulations to Kaela Edwards, Rosa Hardarson, Grace Brittan, EB Bollendonk, Abbey Newby, Bret Mann and Melissa White for their outstanding performance on Saturday at the State Cross Country meet! The girls placed 19th! Way to go!

Congratulations to Garrett Sapakoff for his 38th place finish at the State Cross Country meet on Saturday! Garrett ran a tough race and accomplished his goal of being in the top 40! Way to GO!
