Club Announcements:

Speech and Debate team has its Yearbook photo Friday after school in room 151!!

ATTENTION ALL STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS, AMBASSADORS AND GENERAL COUNCIL members; we have an important Student Council meeting Monday Feb. 7th. We WILL be having our Yearbook pictures, so please wear you Student Council shirts. We will also be talking about Val-O-Grams and St. Patrick’s Day fun! See you there!!

Come stop by Zumba this Monday in the cafeteria after school for a workout unlike any other!

Sports Announcements:

Attention Boy Divers: There will be a Mandatory diving meeting today in the pool area at 2:45pm with Coach Meg Boland – Be there!!

The informational meeting for cheerleading tryouts has been rescheduled for Monday, February 8, at 2:20 in Rm. 113. It is important for anyone interested in trying out to attend this meeting. All relevant tryout info will be covered at this time.

SOCCER SOCCER SOCCER: Any girls wishing to play soccer for LHS in the Spring should attend a short meeting on WEDNESDAY, FEB 9, 2011 at 2.15pm in ROOM 133E. You will receive information on Tryouts and Key Dates for the season. See coach Banfield if you cannot attend.

Academic Announcements:

ATTENTION ALL ADVISEMENT LEADERS AND ALL FRESHMEN!! There will be NO advisement this week due to the 2 snow days. AGAIN, no advisement this week. We WILL have advisement next week and it will be a study hall, so please be prepared to bring some work to do! Thank you.


AP Test Sign-up; Reminder, if you are planning to take an AP test this spring, signup and payments will begin Mon., Feb. 7, in the Counseling Office. Students MUST first complete the AP survey on their Naviance account and then bring to the Counseling Office with full payment. Please see Mrs. Zerr in Counseling with questions.

The Mandatory Junior Advisement/Fall Registration scheduled for Feb. 2 has been moved to Wed., Feb. 16, 7:20-9:00 am. ALL juniors should plan to attend on this date, a complete schedule and room assignments will be forthcoming. Thank you!

Swim Test: Heritage High School will offer the spring swim waiver test on Wednesday, February 16 at 2:30 pm. Registration is limited to the first 40 students. To register, please call Sherri Rossing, 303-347-7645, X6692. When signing up, students must provide their full name, school, grade, phone number and name of their counselor

Feed me Seymore! Buy your Tickets for Littleton Shop of Horrors online. Adult tickets are $10, students and kids are $7 and senior citizens are free! Get them at lhsperformingarts.net . Remember – don’t feed the plant!

Don't miss LHS' screening of the much talked about, must-see movie, "Race to Nowhere: The Dark Side of America's Achievement Culture", "written by a concerned mother turned filmmaker who aims her camera at the high-stakes, high-pressure culture that has invaded our schools and our children's lives". The screening will be held on Thursday, February 10th, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm in the Forum and will be followed by a discussion facilitated by Language Arts teacher, Diana Solis.
