Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to Wan Ting Xue and Kelly Haley – you won a $10 Starbucks card for attending all your tests for CSAP on Monday! Please stop by Ms Prestel’s office in the Social Studies Department sometime this week to pick up their CSAP Attendance prize. Listen for more winners today after school-we are giving away 4 Qdoba cards!

Club Announcements:

The Peace Jam Club will meet today between 2:20 and 2:45 in Room 206. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!

FBLA members we are in the last 3 days of our Duffeyroll fundraiser. Remember that all your order forms and money are due to Mrs. Martin this Wednesday, March 9, 2011by 2:30 pm, in the Business Office (rm 127).

FBLA members: we have a meeting this Thursday, March 10, 2011 in room 124 at 2:20 pm. Fundraisers will be finalized and March of Dimes information shared. See you on Thursday!

Sports Announcements:

Tennis practice today will be in the South Gym at 4:30 pm. Remember - The tennis parent meeting/potluck dinner will be this Thursday at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria. Encourage your parents to attend this organizational meeting.

Academic Announcements:

There will be no Math Methods classes this week. Math Methods will resume on Monday March 14.

Special Events:

Singin' A Cappella for Emily!
Come hear the sweet sounds of the CU Buffoons as they perform a benefit concert for cancer patient and Littleton community member Emily Wilson.
This concert, sponsored by LHS Key Club, will be held on the LHS Mane Stage, Thursday, March 17 at 7:00pm. All proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Aurora on Emily’s behalf. Tickets are $5 for students/kids, $7 for adults. Don't miss the opportunity to hear great music while supporting Emily through this difficult time. Hope to see you there!

LHS NIGHT WITH THE NUGGETS!! Don’t forget to pick up a blue flyer in the main office and fill it out to go to the Nuggets night for LHS on March 30th. This is a special night to honor all of our 9th and 10th graders taking CSAPS as well as to benefit the Musana Orphanage in Uganda. The tickets are a great deal--$27.50 for a ticket, t-shirt and drink! So, get your friends and family together to come to this fun event!! IF you have any other questions, see Ms Prestel in the Social Studies office. Let’s go LIONS!
