Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girls track team for their 2nd place finish on Friday at the Littleton Cit Challenge. The girls set 5 meet records!

Congratulations to the boys track team for their 2nd place finish at the Littleton City Challenge. The boys were lead by a meet record setting high jump by Denzel Washington and many other great finishes! Way to go LIONS!!

Club Announcements:

To all Student Council officers, ambassadors and General Council members-we have a GenCo meeting today in the forum starting at 2:20!! It will be short, so you can get to your sports practices, but we NEED YOU THERE! We only have a couple of meetings left, so they are all very important—thanks! See you there-

Zumba will meet today in the cafeteria after school. Hope to see you there!

Balance meets today in art room 143 after school. We will be doing yoga, so wear comfortable clothes. Balance your stress with yoga!

Colorguard marches with the band and compliments the music they play through the use of color, body movement and equipment such as flags, rifles and sabers. If you would like to be part of this group, please come join us at clinics. You don’t need any experience and we welcome guys and girls! Clinics will be held today and Tuesday and Wednesday of this week from 3:45-5:15 out in front of the school. Please contact Lori Nichol at 303-347-3580 or Mr. Emmons for more information. The Peace Jam Club will meet this Tuesday between 2:20 and 2:45 in Room 206. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Sports Announcements:

Girl’s Basketball players: There will be a brief, mandatory meeting on Wednesday, April 6th in Room 133E at 2:20. Coach Williams will discuss plans for our summer basketball activities. See you all there.

Academic Announcements:

Attention All Juniors! ACT requires all Juniors to have a “pre-bubbling” session. Sessions will be held in the Forum on today. Please check in with your 1st, 3rd, or 7th period teacher and they will dismiss you to come to the Forum. Listen carefully! You are to come only during your specific assigned time!

Special Events:

Juniors, Seniors and families – We are excited to announce that After Prom will be at Fun City. The kids are guaranteed to have a good time with Go-Karts, Laser Maze, Laser Tag, Cosmic Bowling, Miniature Golf and more. Invitations come out on Wednesday. We are still accepting family cash contributions. Donations can be sent to LHS attn: After Prom or given to LHS book keeper with after prom donation in the memo field. Thank you for your support!

Guest forms for Prom are available at student services! They will be due April 21, 2011.
