Greetings LHS: As part of the Remember the Forgotten Activities the Peace Jam Club is challenging Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes to a fundraising competition to support the Alliance for the Lost Boys of Sudan and its GOATS Program which stands for “Give Others the Ability to Survive” . The GOATS program is an on-going program that helps women at risk and their children in South Sudan. $60 can provide a goat to a needy widow or women and her children in Southern Sudan which in turn can provide a family with food, fertilizer, and offspring that can be raised and sold for profit to improve the family’s economic security. If every student in every class donates a dollar, LHS could give 20 goats to needy families in South Sudan. Forgo the purchase of a $1 soda for a day and help a family for years to come! Collection envelopes will be available at the librarian’s desk and at Mr. Gordon’s desk in the Social Studies office. Have a great day! The Peace Jam Club

Other Announcements:

Wow! It was great to see so many LHS students out on Friday cleaning up the campus for Lion Pride/ Earth Day. Many garbage bags were filled with trash from all around our building. Thanks so much to all the students, teachers and parent volunteers who helped to make our campus look its best! Please remember... out of respect for yourself, fellow students and the school, please don't litter! That way we can keep Littleton looking its best all year long! Thanks!
