Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to your Littleton High School “Lion Pride” Marching Band and Colorguard for their outstanding performances at the State Fair Grand Parade in Pueblo on Saturday. The “Lion Pride” Marching Band finished 3rd in their division and the Colorguard placed 1st among all 4A and 5A schools on Saturday. Go Band!

There is a General Council meeting today for all Student Council officers, any students who want to be ambassadors, freshmen officer candidates and anyone else who would love to be a part of this amazing club!! The meeting is in the forum from 2:20-3pm. See you there!

Attention all students: If you need help in ANY academic subject, don’t be shy and drop by. Come by Room 203 after school on Tuesdays. We’ll set you up with a fellow student who can assist you with your schoolwork. Also, any aspiring tutors are welcome to help your peers.

Imagine walking out the backdoors of Littleton. There are endless activities in the sun. Come to Backdoor Fun Club in room 131 on Wednesday right after school. This week’s activity is kick ball.

Hey Senior Women! The first swag meeting of the year will be this Friday in Prestel's room 209 after school! Please be on time! We will be taking attendance, getting contact information, talking about a service project for this semester, deciding on homecoming t-shirts, and making plans for the rest of the year! Please let Marilyn Drennan know if you are unable to make it, or post on the Facebook group!

Sports Announcements:

Open gyms begin this Tuesday night for all girls interested in playing basketball this season. Each Tuesday and Thursday night begins at 5:45 in the weight room and continues on the basketball court from 6:30-8:00. Open gyms are an excellent way to get ready for tryouts in November. We'll see you there!

Academic Announcements:

Actors, it's that time again. The Fall Show this year is the hilarious farce Noises Off. Today there will be an informational meeting after school in 146. If you are interested in auditioning or crewing on this show, come on down. Auditions will be after Labor Day.

Juniors: Please stop by Post Grad if interested in the ZAPS PSAT/SAT Seminar to be held at LHS Sept. 19 & 20.

MANDATORY SENIOR ADVISEMENT for Seniors whose last names begin A-L will take place on our first late start Wed. of the year, Aug. 31. This is a very important meeting for the Class of 2012 to discuss plans for after high school. Please go to the Business Hallway by 7:20 am where you will be assigned to a classroom for this meeting. Questions - please see Ms. Reimers or Ms. Sayre in Post Grad.
