Hello Philosophers. We'll be meeting today after school in Room 102. Please stop by for some thought-provoking discussions. Anyone is welcome, including teachers. See you today in Room 102.

I bet you think this all the time: "Hey, too bad I can't recycle this banana peel." Well, you're in luck!! LHS now has a COMPOST BIN!!! It's the big black box in the courtyard. Just open the lid and throw your banana peel in. You can compost the following items: plant materials, bread, egg shells, plant-based food scraps, and most paper materials (if shredded). Please do NOT throw in: animal products (meat, fats, dairy products), citrus fruits (they're too acidic), metal, plastic, rubber, colored paper, and other trash products. Reduce the waste that goes into landfills by composting!

Sports Announcements:

Littleton Cheers is having a kid's clinic this Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00. Ask your little sister, ages 4-12 if she would be interested in being a Littleton cheer leader for a day. You get a T-shirt and Poms, snack and meal is included and you get to cheer at half time during the football game! For more information speak to any cheerleader or Mrs. Hartung.
