Sports Announcements:

ATTENTION LADY LIONFISH: All girls interested in swimming and diving this year will have an extremely important meeting this Thursday, Sept. 29, at 2:20 in the pool area. Important information for the season will be handed out and captains for the 2011-2012 season will be elected. If for any reason you can not attend, please try to have someone pick up copies of the information for you, and have them give your name and email address to Coach Ervin. We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday!

Academic Announcements:

Hi again Mathletes: Are you good at math? Taking a Honors, AP or IB math class this year? Why not consider participating in the annual CSU Math Day contest in Fort Collins. The contest is all day Thursday, November 3rd. Sign up with your math teacher or with Mr. Ball. Additionally, stop by room 103 from 2:30 to 3:15 this Thursday to work on some tricky practice problems and learn more about the contest. See you there.

PSAT: Students wanting to take the PSAT, better known as the practice SAT, sign-up in the Counseling Office. Cost is $20, cash or check made out to LHS. Test date is Wed., Oct. 12, at 7:30 am. Space is limited!

Attention Seniors! Your senior pictures are due by Friday, September 30. Please see Mrs. Smith with any questions.

Seniors: Senior packets can be picked up at Student Services. Jostens will be here next Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to take orders in the senior hall.

The ID machine has arrived in the library! If you have lost your ID or still need to have an ID made, please check with a librarian for details. Remember, you are required to have a current ID!

LHS Directories will be available for pick up by students or parents at the Administrative Office front desk through October 7. Student ID's will be required for pick-up. LHS Directories are available for sale at a cost of $10 each if you would like to purchase one while supplies last.

Juniors – Are you interested in winning a $500.00 scholarship to the college of your choice? 3 boys and 3 girls from Littleton High School have been asked to compete in the pumpkin pole competition at the Pumpkin Follies and Goat Show on October 7th in downtown Littleton. You will pair up with a team of merchants to create a pumpkin pole, competing against juniors from Arapahoe and Heritage. The students on the winning team will each receive a $500.00 scholarship and will become King and Queen of the Pumpkin Follies and Goat show. If interested please give your name to Mrs. Mashak in the main office by today.
