Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Littleton High School DECA program on their outstanding performance yesterday at the DECA District Competition. The district competition consisted of 11 Colorado schools and accounted for over 400 students. Littleton DECA took 26 students to this competition in an effort to qualify for the upcoming State Conference in February. The chapter qualified all 26 student competitors, accounting for 19 first and second place finishers.

Academic Announcements:

PLAN test results will be distributed today in Room 103 at 2:30 pm. Students who cannot pick up their tests at this time, can get them in the Counseling Office. Students can only pickup their own tests.

Results from the PSAT will be distributed on Tues., Dec. 13, at 11:15 in the Forum. Students should plan to stay for approximately 10 minutes so Mrs. Gobble can go over how to interpret your test results.

Club Announcements:

Come to art room 143 after school today to help plan our next GSA meeting. We will be being creative and making posters.

ATTENTION STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS!! Don’t forget to tell Ms Prestel or Chip know if you can go on the Tri-School retreat. We need to know ASAP!!

FBLA members don't forget that we will be helping customers at the Arapahoe Santa Claus shop today after school. Please meet in Mrs. Martin's room by 2:25 pm. Also, today is the last day to sign up for the upcoming district conference!

Sports Announcements:

The Lion’s wrestling team has a match today at Douglas County HS at 6:00. Hope to see you there! Go Lions – pin those Huskies!

Special Events:

Join us for a Christmas concert from the professional a cappella group “Home Free Vocal Band” from Chicago on Monday December 12th at 7:00pm in the Mane Stage Theatre. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students/senior citizens and available through the music department and at the door beginning at 6 pm.

Other Announcements:

Attention Sophomores: Parking passes will be available for 2nd semester starting next week. Please bring $25, current registration, insurance and your drivers license to the bookkeeper office. If you have not received your license yet, you may purchase a parking permit once you are a licensed driver.

Do you have your 2012 yearbook ordered yet? Only $55! Payments are due tomorrow. There will be no sales after this date, including when the yearbooks arrive. See Mrs. Smith with questions.

FROM THE LIBRARY: LOST AND FOUND WILL BE EMPTIED FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16TH. ALL CLOTHING ITEMS WILL BE DONATED AND OTHER ITEMS WILL BE THROWN AWAY. PLEASE COME DOWN AND CLAIM YOUR LOST THINGS!

ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE TO THE LIBRARY TOMORROW. THERE WILL BE NO MORE CHECK-OUT PERMITTED AFTER FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH.
