Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Baseball C team who had a great come from behind win Wednesday night, defeating Denver east 17-15. Way to go LIONS!

Club Announcements:

Do you want to belong to the best and most fun club in the school? If so, pick up a Student Council Officer or Ambassador packet in the main office or from Ms Prestel in the SS office-and be ready to have some impact! Elections are in May, so get your packets now and get your campaign ready!

Special Events:

All Juniors and Seniors are invited to After Prom 2011 even if you do not go to Prom. RSVP starting Monday April 11th by paying $10 to the LHS Bookkeeper so we know you are coming!!!

Guest forms for Prom are available at student services! They will be due April 21, 2011.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations JV and Varsity boys’ lacrosse on their big wins over Gateway last night! C Team had a good showing despite the loss to Arapahoe. All three team will take on Boulder this Saturday. Good luck lacrosse lions!

Congratulations to Kaela Edwards. She is featured in today’s Post Prep’s article of the Denver Post Sports section.

FBLA officers: we will have an important meeting today at 2:20 pm in room 124. We will be discussing officer election process for next year and a few other end of the school year events. Please be on time!

All BOYS interested in playing soccer next fall - MANDATORY Meeting today in the Forum at 2:30 pm. The coach will give you a break-down of all offseason activities including the plan for fall tryouts. All boys who want to try out for soccer – BE THERE. TODAY, 2:30 pm in the Forum.

Club Announcements:

Come to GSA today to find out more about the annual Day of Silence on April 15th. Show support for your LGBTQ friends who suffer in silence every day. The deadline to sign-up is April 13th. The sign-up sheet will be in art room 143 and a meeting on Wed. with GSA will go into more detail.

Congratulation boys’ JV lacrosse had an amazing come from behind, 6 to 5 overtime victory yesterday against Smoky Hill. Way to go, LIONS!

Club Announcements:

The ping pong club will be meeting today after school in the cafeteria. New members are welcome to come!

If you would like to be part of Colorguard, please come join us at clinics. You don’t need any experience and we welcome guys and girls! Clinics will be held today and Wednesday from 3:45-5:15 out in front of the school. Hope to see you there!!!

The Peace Jam Club will NOT meet today. Catch us next week.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girls track team for their 2nd place finish on Friday at the Littleton Cit Challenge. The girls set 5 meet records!

Congratulations to the boys track team for their 2nd place finish at the Littleton City Challenge. The boys were lead by a meet record setting high jump by Denzel Washington and many other great finishes! Way to go LIONS!!

Club Announcements:

To all Student Council officers, ambassadors and General Council members-we have a GenCo meeting today in the forum starting at 2:20!! It will be short, so you can get to your sports practices, but we NEED YOU THERE! We only have a couple of meetings left, so they are all very important—thanks! See you there-

Zumba will meet today in the cafeteria after school. Hope to see you there!

Balance meets today in art room 143 after school. We will be doing yoga, so wear comfortable clothes. Balance your stress with yoga!

Colorguard marches with the band and compliments the music they play through the use of color, body movement and equipment such as flags, rifles and sabers. If you would like to be part of this group, please come join us at clinics. You don’t need any experience and we welcome guys and girls!
