Student Recognition & Congratulations:
The Unified basketball team amazed the Pepsi Center crowd last night, with our Power Forward, senior Sydney Mcfarlaine scoring the final basket at the buzzer. Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer us on. Our final home game is Monday, Feb. 27th at 7pm.
Academic Announcements:
FAFSA Help Night will be held next Monday, Feb. 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Littleton High School Library. Volunteers will be available to offer parents and their student help in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at this evening work session. In advance, both the parent and student will need to sign up for their PIN number at www.pin.ed.gov and bring their numbers with them. Also, bring your completed tax forms for 2011 (or, if you've not yet completed, bring 2010 forms); along with your social security numbers, driver license numbers, and registration card numbers (if not a citizen). Spring Athletes- Your registration forms are due today. These papers MUST be turned in before you are able to attend the first day of practice on Monday, February 27th.
Special Events:
Tickets for the musical Guys and Dolls are on sale during A or B lunch or after school in the theatre lobby box office. The show runs tonight at 7pm, and Saturday at 1pm and at 6 pm.
Other Announcements:
On Tuesday, February 28th, Jostens will be in the senior hall from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to hand out graduation orders, announcements, and mugs.
Blog Announcements:
Mark your calendars – student/parent/teacher conferences take place next Tuesday from 4 to 7:30 pm! Yogo Mojo will have frozen yogurt available throughout that time in the café for just $3 per cup. A portion of the proceeds will support this year's After-Prom party. Plan on helping this worthy cause and enjoying a treat to ward off any stomach grumblings while you wait to speak with teachers.
