Sports Announcements:

Ten girls who are representing Littleton High School at the 5A State Swim Meet in Fort Collins tomorrow and Saturday are wearing tuxedos to school today. This tradition started more than 45 years ago when the owner of a local tuxedo shop had children who swam for Coach Stringy Ervin at LHS. The ownership of the shop has changed, but Coach Stringy is still at Littleton and the tradition has continued every year with Al's Formal Wear donating the tuxedos to the Littleton Lady Lionfish. The ten girls qualified for the State Swim Meet are: Delaney Ellfeldt, Sydney Fitchett, Meghan Hunt, Cookie Jeter, Hailey Martin, Kelly McCracken, Maddie Montgomery, Emily Paton, Emma Rush, and Megan Sanders. Wish the Lady Lionfish, "Good Luck at State" as you see them in the hall today - GO LIONS!!

Come support Littleton Girl's Basketball tomorrow Friday, February 10th versus Rock Canyon at 5:30 for JV and Varsity at 7:00 with Special Guest Rocky, the Denver Nuggets Mascot! Let's fill the house and show some spirit for our lady Lions!

Blog Announcements:

Can’t attend Februaryfest on Friday, but would like to have the opportunity to bid on one of the special items that will be available? You can have a bidding representative help out… perhaps a parent from one of your student’s teams, a friend, or a neighbor. If you still need help, we can find you an “in absentia” bidding partner. Contact Wendy Burbage at wlb1963@msn.com. Remember, if you can’t attend, you can still make your pledge to the sport(s) of your choice. Februaryfest marks the halfway point of the Booster Club Pledge Drive. Our kids and coaches depend on this fundraising, so please send in your pledge today! Pledge forms are available on the LHS Athletics webpage.
