Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the track teams for their outstanding weekend performances! Highlights include out at the Mt. Sac Relay's in California the girls 1600m medley made up of Rosa Hardarson, Grace Brittan, Dana Gaetani, and Kaela Edwards smashed the school record by 16 seconds! Here in Colorado at the Dakota Invite the sprint medley relay of Sarelle Schueltsis, Elizabeth Rothrock, Love Adetoye, and EB Bollendonk places 6th among fierce comeptetion. Congrats to all who competed!!!

Congratulations to the Boy’s Lacrosse team for their win over Chatfield on Friday 7-3! Way to go LIONS!!

Last Thursday, both the JV and Varsity tennis teams defeated Thunderridge. JV won 7 to 4 and Varsity won 5 to 2. The JV squad has now won 7 in a row! Congratulations to the team and to Coach Zolla for an impressive record. With varsity's win we have improved to 6 and 3 overall.

Congratulations to the JV Girls Tennis team for their performance in this weekend's tournament at Heritage. 16 girls competed, with Kit Kilroy and Corie Fraker finishing as semifinalists, and 2 doubles team Taylor Allen and Lauren Sehgal winning 2nd place in their bracket.

On Friday and Saturday, Littleton hosted the 1st annual girl’s varsity tennis tournament with the following teams participating: ThunderRidge, Highlands Ranch, Castle View, Grandview, Cherokee Trail, Eaglecrest, and Dakota Ridge. I am proud to announce that Littleton High School took 1st place in the tournament with ThunderRidge taking a close second. It was an amazing team effort and helps us prepare for the regional tennis tournament next week. Thanks to all the teachers and administrators who came out to watch on Friday and Saturday.

Academic Announcements:


Attention all Juniors: This is a reminder that we will be ACT testing tomorrow morning at 7:20am. Please be on time, bring a student ID and a calculator. You can find your room assignment posted in the main lobby and outside counseling. For all other students, buses will run on a 3 1/2 hour delayed schedule. Even period classes will be held starting with Period 2 at 11:15am.

Attention all students: Wednesday, April 25th, will be an even period day.

On Tuesday and Thursday, two Canadian schools will visit Littleton's Post Grad Center. On Tuesday, the University of Alberta rep will be here during both A and B lunch, and on Thursday, the University of Saskatchewan rep will visit at 1 o'clock. Sign up on Naviance or come into the Post Grad Center to receive a pass

The Peace Jam Club will meet today in Room 206 between 2:20 and 2:45pm

Yearbook distribution is quickly approaching. If you purchased a yearbook, make sure to pay all fees and fines to the bookkeeper or you will not be able to pick up your yearbook at distribution on Thursday, May 3. See Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Fix with questions.

Special Events:

ATTENTION SENIOR IB STUDENTS: Please join us Sat, May 12th for the annual IB Senior Picnic! It will be held at Sterne Park in Littleton from 12 noon to 3 pm. The cost is just $5 per person. Invitations and RSVP/Memory book order forms have been emailed to parents with potluck assignments. If you did not receive the email, please visit the IB Student Life and Events page on the LHS website for details. RSVPs and Memory Book orders are due no later than April 25th. Questions? Prom tickets are on sale at the bookkeeper’s office during both lunches.

If you have lost your ID and need it for Prom, remakes are available in the library for $5!
