Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Both JV and Varsity Girls tennis defeated Chaparral last night. JV won 7 to 6 and varsity won 5 to 2. Congratulations to both squads as they prepare for their tournaments on Friday and Saturday. Keep up the good work!

Congratulations to the Girl's varsity soccer team for their 1-nil win over Douglas County HS last night. Lanie Sumlin scored the goal from an assist by Julie Stauffer. Goalkeeper Shayna Watkins had the shutout. JV Girls soccer had the winning score of 2-0. Way to go LIONS!!

Academic Announcements:

All students signed up to take an AP test this spring MUST attend one of the following pre-test sessions in the Forum: Thursday, April 19, 6:45-7:15 am or 2:15-3:00 or Friday, April 20, 6:45-7:15 am or 2:15-3:00 pm. Please see Mrs. Zerr in the Counseling Office with any questions.

Attention Juniors and Seniors who are interested in learning more about Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. An admissions representative will be holding an information meeting tomorrow in the Post Grad Center at 8:30. If you want to attend, stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass to attend

Attention ELA students! Summer school is right around the corner and a limited number of scholarships are available to support you. If you are interested, see your counselor immediately, complete an application and turn it in to Mr. Garner in room 119 no later than Friday, April 20.

Club Announcements:

Did you know that the March of Dimes helps premature babies to smile? Researchers have identified a gene that causes cleft lip and palate and are working on prevention's with your donations. Help raise money to make this possible and you just might be the lucky winner of 1/2...yes that is 1/2 of all money raised during the 50/50 challenge! Tickets are available today through Thursday during A and B lunch outside of the cafeteria.

For Earth Week at Littleton High School, the Balance, Green, NHS, and Peace Jam Clubs are sponsoring activities in celebration of Earth Day and growing environmental awareness. We hope you can participate in the following activities:
• Wed: Lion Pride Clean Up Day, 2:30-3:30, front walkway. Bring your own work gloves, wear a hat and sunscreen. Trash bags and snacks will be provided.
• Thurs: Ride Your Bike to School Day. Join us for breakfast in the cafeteria.
• Friday: Wear Green Day
Environmental Film Festival every block in the Forum. See the film list and times posted on the Peace Jam Bulletin Board outside the Library and tune into the daily announcements for more details

All Technology student association members, we have a meeting tomorrow to discuss officers for next year, end of the year gathering and lettering ceremony. We will meet in the tech lab at 2:20 pm - See you there.

Special Events:

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) will be on stage tomorrow night! Come to see the amazing dramatic LHS talent that makes this event possible! Tickets are only $5. April 19th and 20th at 7:00pm and April 21st at 6:00pm on the Mane stage.

In order to honor the theme of Masquerade, Student Council will PROVIDE masks at Prom for anyone who wants one. We will also have masks for the picture booth so that you can take your Prom pictures with a mask. See you there!

Attention all Juniors and Seniors, PROM tickets will go on sale Thursday and Friday during A and B lunches from the bookkeepers office-not the cafeteria. Again, they will be on Sale Thursday and Friday this week from the bookkeeper’s office during both lunches. Tickets are $40 for everyone--LHS students or not.

Juniors and Seniors: Did you miss yesterday’s opportunity? Never fear – After Prom tickets will be available tomorrow during lunches. Bring your $10 and be entered in drawings for door prizes.

If you have lost your ID and need it for Prom, remakes are available in the library for $5!

Prom guest forms are available at Student Services and the Main office. Please return the completed form to Student Services by April 26, 2012.
