Academic Announcements:

Attention all Seniors:  If you have signed a commitment with any branch of the United States Armed Forces (been sworn in) and plan on serving after your graduation, please inform Stacy Geyer in the Counseling Office by Friday, May 4th.  Thank you.

Attention sophomores: if you are registered for AP US History your MANDATORY informational meeting will be held after school today and tomorrow at 2:20 in the Forum. Attendance will be taken and your MANDATORY summer work will be distributed. See you there!

Students taking an AP test you should receive a very important 2012 AP Test Day Instructions sheet from your AP teachers over the next couple of days.  A complete schedule of tests along with room numbers and reminders of what you need to bring to your tests is included.  This information is also available on the Counseling tab on the LHS website.  Please see Mrs. Zerr in the Counseling Office with any questions.

Seniors, you cannot graduate unless you listen to this message, and do what it asks of you...Do I have your attention now?!  All Seniors are required to stop by Post Grad to complete Senior Exit Surveys in order to graduate.  You can do this anytime during the school day next week, Monday through Friday.  The survey will take you about 15 minutes to complete...and it's great fun!  Remember, you cannot walk in the graduation ceremony unless you complete your Senior Exit Survey in the Post Grad Center next week!

Would you like to be a mentor to incoming freshmen?  Do you like making a difference here at LHS?  If so, come to the main office and pick up an Advisement Leader application and sign up to become a LHS Advisement Leader for next year.  Besides working with the incoming freshmen and teacher coordinators, you will also earn 2 credit hours of graduation credit.  We are looking for 50-60 dedicated students who will be Juniors or Seniors next year.  Please turn the filled out applications back into the box into the main office by Wed. May 9th.  See Ms Prestel if you have any questions.

Students:   When you return in August, you will no longer log into the computers using your first initial last name. Because of this change, the files you have saved on the student server will no longer be available.  Please make sure you have saved your files from the student server to some other storage device (e.g. flash drive, upload to GoogleApps, etc) BEFORE you leave for the summer.  If you have any questions or need help, please come to the library.
