Academic Announcements:
Concurrent Enrollment applications for eligible 11th or 12th graders are available in the Counseling Office. Completed applications for the spring semester MUST be returned to Mr. Puchino in the Counseling Office by 2:00 pm on Tues., Oct. 23. Please see Mr. Puchino with any questions.
Club Announcements:
FCCLA will be meeting today after school in room 120. Come help us make posters for our bake sale and Coats for Colorado coat drive.
HIP HOP will meet both today and tomorrow @ 2:30 p.m. this week in the Forum to prepare for Saturday's performance.
Sport Announcements:
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Come one, come all to the Lion Volleyball Pink Match tonight in the north gym as the Lions go up against Rock Canyon HS. The Fresh-Sophomore games starts at 4:30pm, JV game at 5:30pm and Varsity at 6:30pm. Remember to wear your pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness! See you there to support your school and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! Go LIONS!!
Any boys interested in swimming or diving should plan to attend an important meeting next Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 2:30 pm in Room 133E. Come meet our new coaches!
Special Events:
Hey, Littleton Lions! Please join us for our Family Fun Day and Lion Football game at LPS stadium on Saturday, October 6th. All of our elementary and middle school feeder kids are invited! Pre-game activities will start at 12:30pm and the football game starts at 1:00pm going up against Denver South HS. Come and help us spread our LION Pride!!
THE STRIDE is a community 5K and 10K running and walking event coming on October 28. It is organized by the Littleton Foundation to raise money for our schools, and financial awards are given to the schools that have the most participants. Last year LHS beat out Heritage and Arapahoe and we received one thousand dollars for our school. We want to win again this year and we need your help. You can sign up for THE STRIDE online through our school webpage. You can also get a registration form from the counseling office, the main school office, or any of the PE teachers. Get your registrations in now and help LHS win again!
Other Announcements:
Picture re-take and picture make-up day is scheduled for today from 10:30a-12:30p in the theater lobby. If you have received your picture package and would like a re-make of the picture, please bring the first package for exchange. If you missed picture day in August, please stop by to have your picture taken. Order forms are available in the Main office.
Seniors: Today is the last day Jostens will be here to take orders for graduation announcements, cap & gown and accessories. Please stop by the cafeteria hallway from 10:30 to 12:30 to place your order.
Blog Announcements:
For further information on the PSAT, the practice SAT test, please stop by the Counseling office. The cost of the test is $20 and will be held at LHS on Oct. 17 at 7:30 am. Space is limited and signups will go thru Oct. 12.
PLAN - Practice ACT, all sophomores will be required to take the PLAN test at LHS on Oct. 10 beginning at 7:30 am. Additional information will be distributed to the students prior to the test. There is no fee for the test.
