Academic Announcements:


Musical Auditions are coming up! This year the auditions for Legally Blonde will be Monday, December 3rd. If you wish to audition please attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 14th after school in the theatre. If you cannot make the meeting all the information will be on the callboard outside of 146. Thanks.

The Post Grad Center would like to remind seniors that if they have a December 1st college deadline, they will need to request their teacher letters of recommendation, if they need them, and their transcripts, and then pay $5 for each transcript with the Registrar or in Post Grad by this coming Monday, Nov. 12 to insure that they will arrive to the colleges on time.

Juniors and seniors interested in knowing more about the University of Wyoming can meet with the school's admission representative this Friday at 9 a.m. in the Counseling office.  Keep in mind that the Univ of Wyoming is among the more affordable out-of-state options for Colorado students.

Club Announcements:


HIP HOP Club will meet in the Forum today at 2:20.  It is an organizational meeting to outline the rest of the semester and the direction for next semester. Please attend.

FBLA will meet today at 2:20 pm in room 124.  See you then!

Key Club will meet in room 126 right after school! We will be counting and delivering the cans from Trick-or-Treat For Cans! Also, make sure to remember $15 for Key Club dues! See you there

Sport Announcements:

Attention winter athletes: Registration packets and physicals are due TODAY.  Please see Mrs. Gray in the athletic department if you have any questions.  You must have all paperwork turned in for you to participate Friday, November 9th - no EXCEPTIONS.

Girl basketball players - the season is here!  Preseason camp is this afternoon at 4:00 in the South Gym and tryouts are Friday, Saturday and next Monday.

Hockey Tryouts:  Heritage Hockey CHSAA Varsity tryouts are coming up Nov. 9-10! All LPS high school ice hockey players are welcome to try out! Please visit www.heritagelpshockey.org for details.

Special Events:

Lions Follies tickets are now on sale and will be sold in the CAFETERIA at lunch and after school.  For your parents, tickets are being sold ONLINE.  See the LHS home page for the link.  So, for ONLY $5, you'll get to see a plethora of follies: poetry, music, dance, and LOTS of comedy.  Friday and Saturday night at 7:00.  Be there! 

International Education Week is coming to LHS November 12-16. This year’s theme is International Education: Striving for a healthier future worldwide. A schedule of events is posted outside the Library entrance, and events for the day will be read on the daily announcements. Enjoy the events you may attend with your classes and feel welcome to attend events during your off hours.

Have you ever dreamed of traveling and studying abroad? Next Wednesday, November 14th between 6 and 8 pm in the Cafeteria there will be a Study Abroad Program fair with representatives from a variety of programs that offer international study, service, and travel opportunities for high school students. Enjoy the week!

Students, please be respectful of our neighbors and leave space between vehicles when parking on the street; please do not pull up to or back up to someone’s bumper.  That person will need room to maneuver out of their space. Thank you.

Blog Announcements:

Students and staff:  The Thanksgiving holiday is rapidly approaching, and Littleton High School would like to ensure that every student and their family have a holiday meal.  If you are able to make a donation or know of someone who could benefit from receiving a holiday food basket contact Mr. Hahn in the Counseling Department.

Anyone interested in being a part of Unified Lions Basketball there will be a parent/player/coach meeting on November 12th at 7pm in the Library. Important paperwork, schedules and spirit wear will be discussed. See Heather Stukey, Deana Encinias or Nate White with any questions in 106C. Come be a part - we need you!

Can you believe it’s November already? That means Lions Follies is right around the corner! Mark your calendar for November 9 and 10th … join fellow Littleton families for an evening of Lions Follies fun! Enjoy a delicious dinner at Delvickio’s Restaurant before the show.  Delvickio’s (810 West Littleton Blvd) will be donating 10% of proceeds to PTO After-Prom. Let them know you are from LHS! Then, enjoy some yummy treats at the PTO Bake Sale in the front lobby at school before or after Lions Follies. You’ll want to bring some extra spending money for delectable baked goodies! Enjoy an evening of great fun, benefitting LHS prom and after-prom. It’s a win-win weekend for all!!! Thanks to everyone for supporting this unique Littleton tradition on the 9th and/or 10th!
