Academic Announcements:

Current 9th graders- you will register today during your Language Arts Classes. Students will have until Friday, Feb. 24 to input their schedules on Infinite Campus. Please see your Counselor with any questions.

We have college representatives visiting LHS next week. On Monday, CU-Denver will be in the Post Grad Center from 9 to 9:30 a.m., and on Thursday, Colorado Mesa University will be here at 9 a.m. and Johnson & Wales at 10:45. Sign up on Naviance, or get a pass from Post Grad, to attend.

Juniors with last names M-Z will meet on the next late start, Wed., Feb. 15 for course selection and Naviance/Post Grad update. This is a MANDATORY meeting, and students need to be here ready to start at 7:20 am. Room assignments will be posted on the bulletin board outside the Counseling office on Tues., Feb. 14.

Attention all seniors: LIfe 101 information and permission forms are now available in both the counseling office and on the circulation desk in the library. Pick one up today if you would like to participate. Forms should be turned in on Monday. See Ms. Solis with questions.

Do you have a sweetheart here at LHS? or someone who you HOPE to make your sweetheart? If so, Student Council has the answer for you! Send a Val-O-Gram with a super special message along with a flower to your special someone and make their day! or if you just want to send a flower to a friend and tell them to have a GREAT DAY-we have a Val-O-Gram for that, too!! The flowers and gram are only $1-and will be delivered on Valentines Day! Just find a Student Council member and send your Val-O-Gram today!

Sports Announcements:

Nuggets super mascot Rocky will unfortunately NOT be here tonight to celebrate with our girl’s basketball team due to a family emergency. We hope you'll still join us for our "70's Night" game vs. Rock Canyon to support the 'Kay Yow Breast Cancer Research Fund". See you all tonight to root on our Lions and help fight breast cancer with your donations!

The Boys Basketball team will be traveling to Rock Canyon HS tonight – Varsity game time is 7:00pm – Hope to see you there!

Best of luck to the Lady Lionfish at State competition this weekend – today and tomorrow in Ft. Collins – Go LIONS!!

Mandatory Parent and Player Baseball meeting: There will be a mandatory Parent and Player meeting for all athletes that will be going out for Spring Baseball on February 21st, at 6:00PM in the LHS Cafeteria. Please make sure that all players and at least one parent is in attendance for the meeting. Thank you, and see you then.

Tonight’s the night! Februaryfest Booster Bash at Glenmoor Country Club. We’ll see everyone at 6:00 pm. If you can not attend, please check out the LHS athletics website and send in your pledge today for the sport (s) of your choice. This is the best way for us to show our support for our student athletes! Thanks to all the parents, coaches, and faculty who plan on attending and supporting our Booster Club!!! Go Lions!!!

Sports Announcements:

Ten girls who are representing Littleton High School at the 5A State Swim Meet in Fort Collins tomorrow and Saturday are wearing tuxedos to school today. This tradition started more than 45 years ago when the owner of a local tuxedo shop had children who swam for Coach Stringy Ervin at LHS. The ownership of the shop has changed, but Coach Stringy is still at Littleton and the tradition has continued every year with Al's Formal Wear donating the tuxedos to the Littleton Lady Lionfish. The ten girls qualified for the State Swim Meet are: Delaney Ellfeldt, Sydney Fitchett, Meghan Hunt, Cookie Jeter, Hailey Martin, Kelly McCracken, Maddie Montgomery, Emily Paton, Emma Rush, and Megan Sanders. Wish the Lady Lionfish, "Good Luck at State" as you see them in the hall today - GO LIONS!!

Come support Littleton Girl's Basketball tomorrow Friday, February 10th versus Rock Canyon at 5:30 for JV and Varsity at 7:00 with Special Guest Rocky, the Denver Nuggets Mascot! Let's fill the house and show some spirit for our lady Lions!

You will receive very important registration and tryout information. We are anticipating another awesome LAX year and you don't want to miss out!

The Unified Basketball team fought valiantly but came up just short against Mountain Vista. Thank you to all of our fans, the band and the poms for making it so exciting.
