Club Announcements:


Student Council officer candidates, please make sure all your paperwork and speeches are completed by Monday May 6th. We will be collecting them at the General Council meeting.  Current Officers, Ambassadors and General Council members, we have our LAST General Council meeting on Mon. May 6th.  We will be talking about elections, spring fling, prom evaluation, graduation AND pick next year's Homecoming theme!!  Please be in the forum by 2:20!  See you there!

 Sport Announcements:

Applications for cheer tryouts will be available May 6th with an opportunity to meet one of the new coaches on May 10th at 3pm in Room 133E. Tryouts will be Monday, May 13th-17th from 4-6:30! Don't wait - get your physical now!!  You must have a current physical to try-out!

Special Events:

Come and enjoy the Choir "Pops" Concerts tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 and available in the ticket booth.  Come and enjoy the talents of your friends in the Choir Department.

Other Announcements:

From the Library – Seniors!  Any Library materials you have checked out are due Friday, Mary 10th.  All other students, your materials are due Friday, Mary 17th.  Avoid the fines and return your books today!

Attention Students – do you need a computer? If you do not have a computer, we have free computers for you. These are refurbished desktop computers, not laptops. They use the XP operating system and are loaded with Open Office; please see Mr. Hahn in the counseling office.

Hi LHS parents! When was the last time you checked the PTO link on the website for the latest PTO news? It’s a great way to stay informed about what is happening! While you are visiting the website, you can check to see what is taking place on the LHS campus. Listings of school events, booster club, IBPO and Encore news, too! All of this information just a click away!

Students: please remember that our hallways are not a place for gathering while classes are in session.  If you do not have a class, please go to the cafeteria or outside, or to the library to do homework.  You may not stand and talk in the hallways during the school day.

LPS Summer School Brochures are available in the Counseling Office.   The enrollment forms must be signed by your counselor and parent and returned to Arapahoe Community College.  ACC accepts checks, credit card or money orders, but they do not accept cash.  Please see your counselor for more information.  Deadline is May 29, 2013.
