Tomorrow is our first home football game! Let’s plan to tailgate before the game. Keep it simple… here are some guidelines to help get our season off to a great start! Come early and chat with fellow LHS families, then head on in and watch our boys play some football!
 Tailgating 101
 •        Bring your car (if it has a tailgate, even better!)
•         Bring a small table and a couple of chairs (table decorations are good!)
•         Bring snacks and drinks to put on your small table (finger foods work best).
•         Share your snacks and drinks if you like (no adult beverages, please- LPS District Policy!).
•         Show your Lion Pride and wear purple and gold! (Go Littleton!)
•         Maybe some purple and gold balloons for your car, to help make things festive!

The Choir Department is holding a Garage Sale and Car Wash fundraiser on Saturday, Sep 7, 8am-12pm, in the Littleton High School front parking lot, to help with the cost of choir outfits for the Troubadours and Syrens. Donation items for the garage sale would be greatly appreciated, and can be dropped off in the theatre lobby Thursday Sep 5, Friday Sep 6, or the day of the garage sale, on Sep 7, between 7am-8am. (All unsold items will be donated to charity after the sale.) Volunteers to help set up and assist during the event are needed as well. Come out and show your support for the choir department on Saturday Sep 7! Bring your friends and family!

LHS ENCORE! will host a meet and greet BBQ before the Collage Concert on Wednesday, Sep 11, at 5:00pm, in the front parking lot. Everyone is welcome and proceeds benefit LHS Performing Arts. Advance tickets can be purchased from Mr. Farrell in the choir room, or at Back-To-School night, for $6 each OR 4 tickets for $20.00. (Tickets are $7 each OR 4 for $25 at the event.) The menu includes: BBQ pulled pork or chicken sandwiches, salad, bottled water & dessert. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and meet your LHS Encore! board members and other performing arts families. The FREE Collage Concert follows the BBQ, at 7pm, in the LHS Theatre.

Hello everyone! First, a big thanks to everyone who attended the very fun (albeit rainy) Back-to-School FUNraiser at Glenmoor on Thursday! Our focus this year for our PTO fundraising is the new STEM lab that will be in place soon at Littleton. Dr. Oaks reviewed her plan for the year, and with any luck, we will have some fabulous new computers up and running as soon as possible. If you did not have a chance to attend the fundraiser, but would like to make a contribution to PTO for our new lab, please contact Wendy Burbage at wlb1963@msn.com, or mail your check to LHS, attn. FUNraiser.  We are on our way to attaining our goal of $9000 for some new state-of-the-art Apple computers, but a few more donations would be wonderful. OR, if you’d like to support our after-prom for junior and senior students in April, you may also want to consider a donation to this special event. Just use the memo portion on your check to specify your donation preference. Any and all donations are appreciated! It adds up, and it all benefits our LHS students. All donations are tax deductible.
