Student Announcements:

Students, you should have your School ID with you at all times.  If you do not have and ID, please go to the Library to pick up.  Thank you.

Students, please be aware that when you log in to your IC account, you will be prompted to change your log-in information.

Academic Announcements:

Juniors can sign up in the Counseling Office for the PSAT (practice SAT) Sept. 23 - Oct. 11. The test is Wed., Oct. 16, 7:30 - 11:30 am in the LHS South Gym. Registrations are limited to the first 200 students, and students must pay the $20, non-refundable fee when they sign up.

Club Announcements:

Key Club meets after school today in room 211 to discuss October activities.  All are welcome!  Please come along even if you were not able to attend our first meeting.

Philosophy club will meet today after school in Room 103.  Anyone is welcome to come!

Anyone interested in joining the Speech and Debate team is encouraged to attend our recruitment meeting TOMORROW, (Friday) at 2:30 in the Speech Room (the library classroom).  All current team members should also attend.

Sport Announcements:

See some awesome Ultimate action at Clarkson Park TODAY as we take on Arapahoe.

All girls planning on swimming or diving during the 2013-2014 season are invited to attend the first general meeting which is TODAY at 2:20 p.m. in the pool area.  This is an extremely important organizational and informational meeting.  We will elect captains for the 2013-2014 seasons.  Please make every effort to attend!

There will be open mat wrestling on Friday September 27th from 2:45-4:00pm.

Weight training for all levels of boy’s basketball continues on Monday - Thursday each week.  Open gym is tonight and Thursday night from 6 - 7:30 pm.  Any basketball player who is interested in competing for a spot on the three levels of boy’s basketball is strongly encouraged to attend these pre-season workouts

Special Events:

College representatives from Metro State University of Denver, the University of Alabama and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will be visiting our school TODAY in the Counseling office.  Sign up on Naviance, and get a pass to class from the Post Grad Center.

College representatives from Cotty College in Missouri and the University of Denver will be at Littleton on Friday. Sign up on Naviance and come in to Post Grad for a hall pass.

From the Mane Stage : Join us for a steam punk twist on Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest".  The show opens Thursday, October 3rd at 7pm and runs Friday, October 4th at 7 and Saturday, October 5th at 6. Student tickets are $7.00, and adult tickets are $10.00.  Tickets are available at the box office during A and B lunch, or online at: www.seatyourself.biz/lhsperformingarts. Come see why being Ernest is the best way to go!

Attention Seniors!  If you have not submitted your senior photo for the yearbook, time is running out!  Please check the list in Ms. Fisher's room (room 111) to see if your picture is missing.  The photographer will be here TODAY, Sept. 26 to photograph seniors still needing a photo.  Come see Ms. Fisher to sign up. Don't miss your chance to be pictured in the yearbook as a senior!

Invisible Children--They're back!  Want to discover who they are?  Find out how they are making a difference in the lives of young people both in America and Uganda.  Come see the film and presentation in the Forum, blocks 2, 4, 6 and 8 Wednesday, October 2nd.

SAVE THE DATE:  The LPS Foundation is having their 18th annual Stride 2013 on Sunday, October 27 at the Littleton Museum.  Register online at www.runthestride.com  or register in person at the Boulder Running Company, 8116 W. Bowles Avenue in Littleton OR at Run Colorado, 8505 E. Arapahoe Rd. in Centennial from Friday, Sept 27, through 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 23.  Join your fellow students in either a 5K or 10K race through the beautiful streets of Littleton.  We have been challenged to win the High School Competition for a third year in a row so we need to have as many participants as possible join the "Littleton High School" team.  If our school has the largest percentage of participants, we win $1,000 again.  GO LIONS!!!
