Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to your LHS "Lion Pride" Marching Band and Colorguard.  The Band qualified for the next round of the State Marching Band Championships with their best performance of the season this past Thursday at their Regional competition.  The Quarterfinal round is this coming Friday in Fort Collins.  Go Band!

Congratulations to your LION ULTIMATE mixed team on their victory last Thursday.  Their 15-2 win over RMSEL extends their undefeated season record to 7 and 0.

Academic Announcements:

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  An admissions rep from Lafayette University will be in Post Grad today at 8:30 and an admissions rep from the University of Colorado at Boulder will be here in The Forum at 10:30.  If you need a pass out of class in order to attend either meeting, please stop by Post Grad.  Don't miss learning all about CU-Boulder today at 10:30.  The rep from the University of Colorado at Denver will be here to meet students this Friday at 12:30

Juniors/Seniors interested in ACTS/Concurrent Enrollment should plan to attend an important informational meeting on Thursday Oct. 24 at 2:20 in Room 103. Concurrent enrollment is a program that allows dual enrollment between LHS with Arapahoe Community College and Metropolitan State University of Denver. Please see Mr. Puchino in the Counseling Office with questions.
 
Club Announcements:

This week’s World Club meeting will be moved to Thursday, October 24th between 2:20 and 2:45 in Room 206

Lions Follies auditions run through Wednesday.  We will be in room 141 and will begin at 3PM sharp!  See you there!

Attention DECA and FBLA members who signed up for the Stock Market Challenge!  We will have our training this Thursday, October 24, 2013 in Room 124 at 2:20 pm.  Our business professional will be here to help us get organized and you will be picking your teams and your stocks!  Don't miss this important meeting.  Plan to be here for about 1 hour so you are prepared for the challenge!

Key Club members and prospective members!  We have a meeting this Thursday after school in room 211.  If you have not already paid your dues, please bring them to the meeting or put them in Ms. Anthamatten's box.  Also, if you plan to attend the Kid's Against Hunger event this weekend, you must bring your permission slip to the meeting or put it in Ms. Anthamatten's box before Thursday.  Thanks!

Sport Announcements:

All boys interested in joining the lacrosse team, there is an important parent & player meeting on TONIGHT, October 22nd in the Forum at 7pm.

All boys interested in playing basketball come meet our new coach - tonight at 5:30 pm in the South Gym.  There will be a quick meeting, then open gym. See you there!

Special Events:

On Monday, October 28th at 2.20PM there will be a meeting in the theatre for anyone and everyone interested in auditioning for the musical CITY OF ANGELS. The meeting will cover the type of show, audition material and the audition date---Nov 12th!

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

How is your math grade?  How is your math understanding? Come to room 121 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15 - 4:00 pm to get math help to boost your understanding as well as your math grade.  Math help with Mr. Brooks starts tomorrow, October 22nd.

Get a jump start on your holiday shopping, and enjoy live music and refreshments with friends, while you browse the unique, hand-crafted accessories at the third annual Littleton High School Performing Arts Music & Craft Fair!  The craft fair will be held on Saturday, Nov 9, 9 am-4 pm, in the LHS South Gym and Cafeteria. If you had your picture taken on Retake Day, your new ID cards are here. Please see Mrs. Mountfort in the main office to pick yours up. If you order pictures on Retake Day, the picture order will come to the school the first week of November.
