Academic Announcements:
Juniors/Seniors interested in ACTS/Concurrent Enrollment should plan to attend an important informational meeting on TODAY at 2:20 in Room 103. Concurrent enrollment is a program that allows dual enrollment between LHS with Arapahoe Community College and Metropolitan State University of Denver. Please see Mr. Puchino in the Counseling Office with questions.
The Admissions rep from the University of Colorado at Denver will be here to meet students tomorrow at 12:30. If you need a pass out of class in order to attend either meeting, please stop by Post Grad.
Students taking AP courses who are in need of financial assistance should stop by the Counseling Office for information regarding the ESCAPE Grant. ESCAPE stands for Eliminating Student Cost for Advanced Placement Exams. This is a federal grant program sponsored through the Colorado Department of Education. There is a Nov. 4 deadline for completed applications to be returned to
Counseling.

Key Clubbers! Please remember that we are meeting TODAY in room 211 after school. Please bring $15 for dues if you have not already paid. Also, please bring your permission slips for the Kids Against Hunger food pack event if you have not already turned them in. This is a firm deadline.

On Monday, October 28th at 2.20PM there will be a meeting in the theatre for anyone and everyone interested in auditioning for the musical CITY OF ANGELS. The meeting will cover the type of show, audition material and the audition date---Nov 12th!
Trick or Trunk Street--do you have younger brothers and sisters? If so, bring them to our 4th Annual Trick or Trunk Street on Wed. Oct. 30th in the stadium parking lot from 3:30-5:30. You can let your parents know as well and we'll see you all there!
Costume Contest!! Student Council is having a Costume Contest on Thursday Oct. 31st and we want the whole school to participate!! We will be taking pictures in the cafeteria during the lunches for: the most creative, the spookiest, the most "think out of the box" original and the best partner costumes. So, get your imaginations going into over drive and think of an amazing costume to wear next week! Make sure it is Code of Conduct appropriate and NO full face masks!

Sign up for all LHS students for the swim test held at Littleton will begin on Monday, Oct. 28, in the Counseling Office. The test is offered on two separate days, Mon., Nov. 11 or Tues., Nov. 12, at 2:30 pm in the LHS pool-DRESSED and ready to swim. Students must sign up, as space is limited and you must attend the date you sign up for. The deadline to sign up is Fri., Nov. 8. For further information and a skills criteria sheet, please stop by the Counseling Office.
DO you have a friend or significant other you would like to send a treat to for Halloween? Well, Student Council has the answer--Halloween O Grams!! For only $1 you can send a "hand" of candy plus a message to that special person! Find a Student Council member, so see Ms Prestel in the Social Studies office to buy your Grams! They will be delivered on Halloween next Thursday AND all the proceeds will benefit the Musana Children's home in Uganda!
Students if you notice, there are some fun Halloween decorations around the school, please be RESPECTFUL of our students' time and effort to put those up and do not take them down. If you see one that has fallen down in the hall, either put it back up or take it to the Social Studies office. Thanks so much!

Get a jump start on your holiday shopping, and enjoy live music and refreshments with friends, while you browse the unique, hand-crafted accessories at the third annual Littleton High School Performing Arts Music & Craft Fair! The craft fair will be held on Saturday, Nov 9, 9 am-4 pm, in the LHS South Gym and Cafeteria. There will be artisans with a variety of items available for sale such as body care products, jewelry, scarves, photography, greeting cards, handbags, and much more. All proceeds from the Craft Fair will be used to further the education of LHS Performing Arts students.
