Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to our girls varsity basketball team who defeated Chaparral last night for their 13th win of the season!  Stacey Zuppa led the team with her great defense, 9 points, and 8 rebounds.  Laura Puchino added 16 points and Kiera Lindgren scored 11.

Come out to Heritage High School tomorrow night to support our Lions as they go for win #14 vs. the Eagles!

Congratulation to our Unified Basketball team for their win against South Suburban 94 - 88.   It was a tough game but our team prevailed.  Congratulations to the following players:
Aaron – 4 baskets
Jay – 10 baskets and 2 rebounds
Talon – 12 baskets and 5 rebounds
Matt – 12 baskets and 15 rebounds
Come out to support Unified’s last home game on Monday 2/28 against Castle View at 7:00pm.

Academic Announcements: 

Seniors: Jostens will be on Friday 2/28/14 to deliver announcements and other orders.  They will be in the Senior hall from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p,m.

Attention Juniors and Their Families.  Junior Advisement and registration for classes for Senior year will take place on late-start Wednesday morning, 2/26 at 7:20 am.  This meeting is mandatory, so no sleeping in that day!

Attention all Juniors and Seniors.  An admissions rep from the University of Colorado Denver will be visiting tomorrow, at 10:00 am in Post Grad. Remember that UCD is a top university that's right here in Denver.  If you need a pass out of class please stop by Post Grad to pick one up.

Club Announcements: 

Spring Ultimate starts on Thursday  First practice is from 2:30-4:00…come down to the grass practice field ready to run and psyched for fun.

The Technology Student Association is having a mandatory meeting in the tech lab this Thursday at 2:20 to finalize payment and events as well as talk logistics involving the TSA state conference. If you cannot make this meeting due to a conflict talk to Mrs. Wilkins immediately.

Special Events:

The LHS Mane Stage presents "City of Angels" Feb 27 – March 1!  .  Ticket  prices are $7 for students, $10 for adults, and senior citizens are free.  Tickets are available for purchase at the LHS Box Office during lunch, or online at: www.seatyourself.biz/lhsperformingarts

RSVP now for our 3rd Annual FebruaryFest happening Friday, February 21st at Glenmoor Country Club. It’s an evening for coaches and parents to socialize and celebrate.  Go LHS Athletics!

Princeton Review is offering an opportunity for sophomores and juniors to take a FREE, full-length, proctored ACT test at Rock Canyon High School on Saturday February 22nd.  Students will receive a free report breaking down their scores. This is an ideal way to prepare for the statewide ACT test which all Juniors are required to take here at school in April.  Check the Princeton Review website for details about registering for the test.  There are a limited number of seats available.

Math help after school on Thursday from 2:20 – 4pm in room 121

Math & Science tutoring provided by Lockhead Martin tutoring from 6 – 7:30pm today and tomorrow in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.
