Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Girls soccer program for their excellent start to the season. The varsity and JV teams have won all three of their non league games recording wins over Dakota Ridge, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson High Schools. The varsity team has yet to concede a goal! The C team scored seven goals last Friday in a win over Denver East. Well done ladies.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Student Council TCAP Attendance drawing!  Student Council put all the kids who had 100% attendance for TCAP into a drawing and picked out 8 freshmen and 8 sophomores to receive a $20 gift card to either Chipolte, Starbucks or Qdoba!  If you hear your name on this list, please see Ms Prestel in the Social Studies office or in room 209 as soon as you can!!!  Freshmen--Brisa Banuelos, Allyson Leith, Hugo Alvarez, Lizbeth Rodarte Pineda, Mathew Vega, Isaac Torres Marchand, Joseph Diemer and Madison Wells.  Sophomores--Biontina Balaj, David Levin, Javed Ali, Christian Reisbeck, Kristen Van Loo, Natalie Thomas, Maddie Diez and Ashla Williams.  Way to go folks--we really appreciate you being here EVERYDAY for your tests!

Special Events:

Come and enjoy the Spring Instrumental Concert on Tuesday, March 18th at 7:00 pm featuring all of the LHS Instrumental Music Performing Ensembles - Symphonic Winds, Orchestra and Jazz Ensembles. Then, on Wednesday, March 19th at 7:00 pm enjoy our Spring Choir Concert which will be featuring all of the LHS Choirs; Troubadours, Lof, Manwich, Chordially Yours, Syrens, Concert Choir and Women's Ensemble. Admission is FREE for both concerts.

Sport Announcements:

Varsity Boys Lacrosse will take on Arapahoe tonight at 6PM in the stadium.  Come out to support the team and good luck to our LAX Lions!

Club Announcements: 

There will be an essential Model United Nations meeting this Thursday (3/20) at 2:15pm in room 206 for any students that want to participate in the April 12th Denver University Model United Nations Conference.

If you are a member of Key Club and you were unable to attend Thursday's meeting and did not have a chance to vote for next year's officers, please come and get a ballot from Ms. Anthamatten in the foreign language office during A or B lunch today.  This is your last chance to vote!  Votes will be tallied and results posted at the end of the day today.

Academic Announcements: 

ALL continuing students must have their schedules for next year inputted into Infinite Campus by Tuesday, March 18.  We also ask for students to return their paper copy of their schedules to the box in the counseling office by the 18th. Thank you!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors. An admissions representative from Yale University will be coming to meet with any interested Sophomores and Juniors on Tuesday, March 18th at 10:00 in the Post Grad Center.  This the first time in recent history that Yale has come to Littleton to meet with students.  If you'd like to attend this informal meeting, stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass out of class.

Blog Announcements:

Come to Spirit Night at Chick-fil-a on County Line Rd  near Park Meadows Mall on Monday, March 17th.  15% of the proceeds will support Encore! and the trip to Germany that the choir, band, and orchestra are taking over spring break.  Take a break from making dinner and enjoy a quick night out.  Thanks for your support.

Make dinner a selfless act by joining CHIPOTLE to support LHS 2014 After-Prom! Go dine at CHIPOTLE on Littleton Blvd. & Broadway on Wednesday, March 19th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, mention to the cashier you are from Littleton High School.  After-prom will get 50% of the proceeds.

Please join us for the annual IB Visual Art Show at the Depot Art Gallery, 2069 West Powers Avenue, Littleton. Come see the work of IB artists Jibin Abraham, Lilly Bell, Emma Capra, Thinh Dinh, Graham Fee and Erika Remy. The  show runs through March 22.
