Our Counseling Department will be collecting gift card donations this week for our LHS families in need over Spring Break.  Details to donate and more information is posted in the Counseling office and in the Blog Announcements.

Academic Announcements:

TCAP test schedules and class schedules are posted on the website.  This information lets all students know what time they need to be at school for testing and classes.

Blog Announcements:

Attention freshmen who are in Advisement classes, there will be NO advisement on Thursday or Friday this week.  There will be Advisement on Monday and Tuesday.  Thanks!

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

LHS is continuing the gift card donation tradition for Spring Break by serving approximately 50 families with gift cards in the denomination of between $10 and $50 to places such as King Soopers, Safeway, Albertsons, Wal-Mart, and Target. We would like to serve as many families as we have requests for, but we could be limited based on the donations received.  Individuals who would like to make a donation can drop-off gift cards (i.e., King Soopers/Safeway/Albertsons/Target, Wal-Mart, etc...) at anytime. However, the sooner the better as it will help allow the Counseling Department to know how many families we can best serve.

Come and enjoy the Spring Instrumental Concert on Tuesday, March 18th at 7:00 pm. Admission is FREE. We will be featuring all of the LHS Instrumental Music Performing Ensembles - Symphonic Winds, Orchestra and Jazz Ensembles. One of our featured pieces that evening is the full Symphony Orchestra performance of the Danzon No. 2 by Marquez. The Symphonic Winds will also present a new piece titled J.S. Jig that features the music of Johann Sebastian Bach set in a very contemporary way for band. The Jazz Ensembles will perform a feature piece titled ShowTime! that showcases every section of the Jazz Ensemble.

Then, on Wednesday, March 19th at 7:00 pm enjoy our Spring Choir Concert. We will be featuring all of the LHS Choirs; Troubadours, Lof, Manwich, Chordially Yours, Syrens, Concert Choir and Women's Ensemble. The concert will include music from Brahms to The Manhattan Transfer, contemporary a cappella to 19th century a cappella, the music of the British Isles to American pop and much more.  Admission is FREE!
