Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Please congratulate Selena Ashbaugh and Bhewattie (Beauty) Nauth for receiving a bronze medal in Cake Design at the FCCLA State Culinary Competitive Events.

Congratulations to the varsity girls tennis team for their 4 - 3 victory against Chaparral yesterday. Despite a tough Continental League schedule, the team is now 4 - 4, heading into the last week of the regular season. Come support the girls play this Friday as we host the LHS Invitational.

Sports Announcements:

Open gyms begin again for girls basketball on Thursday nights from 6:00-8:00.  Our first open gym is this Thursday night, the 17th and all girls interested in playing basketball are welcome to attend.  Let's get back on the court!

Academic Announcements: 

AP Students reminder you must plan to attend the mandatory pre-bubble sessions.  If you did not pre-bubble yesterday or this morning, you need to come to the Forum at 2:15-3:00 pm.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Zerr in the Counseling office. Thank you!

Graduation junior escorts reminder you have a mandatory meeting TODAY at 2:30 pm in Room 101.  The meeting will be short, but it is very important you attend.  Please see Mr. McShea with any questions.  Thank you!

Seniors who have not yet ordered their cap & gown from Jostens and who would like to borrow one, please see Mrs. Railey in the Counseling Office by April 21. Please note if you are borrowing a cap & gown, you will need to purchase a tassel.  Thank you!

Club Announcements: 

The World Club will meet in room 206 today at 2:20pm.

The Model UN club will meet in room 206 on Thursday at 2:20 pm.

FCCLA will be meeting this Thursday in room 120, right after school.

Other Announcements: 

Students, please note that the price of the school breakfast and school lunch will increase on Thursday, May 1st.  This is due to a federal mandate; we are mandated to increase the price.  Breakfast will cost $2.25, Lunch will increase to $3.75.

PROM Announcements:

Attention students:  Do you still need a dress for prom?  Do you have a prom dress from last year that you don't need anymore?  If so, Fashion Club is hosting a dress swap and sale taking place after school TODAY in Room 151.  In addition, a raffle will be held for a $25 gift card for those who exchange or purchase a dress.  Gentleman, if you are in need of a tux rental, discounts are available.  Please see Mr. Hahn in the Counseling office for additional information.

Do you have a great way to ask someone to prom? Submit it to littletonpromposals@gmail.com with a brief description of how you asked your special someone, and maybe even pictures. The winner gets to choose between a free prom ticket and a 40$ gift card!  Good luck!

Raffle to help Prom--check out the quilt hanging in the library; it is being raffled off to help with the cost of Prom this year!  Tickets are $2 for 1, or $5 for 3 for this gorgeous quilt--which was made out of our LHS class shirts--every year is displayed!  Find a Student Council member or Ms Prestel and buy your chance to win this amazing quilt today!!  The drawing is on May 16th.

PROM is just around the corner and tickets are on sale now.  Tickets will be sold out of the bookkeeper’s office during BOTH lunches.  The price is $40 for all Juniors and non-LHS students.  All seniors are FREE!

Reserve your place at After-Prom Party at Brunswick Zone!  Tickets will be on sale for $10.00 each on Thursday & Friday the 17th & 18th and 24th & 25th during lunches outside of the Cafeteria.  Remember - you don’t have to attend Prom to go the After-Prom Party!

Blog Announcements:

Attention Seniors!  Anyone interested in designing the Senior Class tee-shirt this year needs to submit designs to Mrs. Gobble TODAY.  Design requirements are posted on the Senior Student Council Bulletin Board.

The Writing Center is open weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30-2:30 in the Library.

The DECA store will now be open from 8:30AM to 10:00 AM each day for LHS students to shop.  This will be the only times to get your tasty DECA store treats.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.
Students it is time for the 2014 LIP DUB!!!  We will be filming on April 23rd after school.  Get your club, activity or sport to sign up ASAP, and reserve your spot.  Sign up sheets are on the cafeteria windows, and turn them in to Mr. Decker in room 127.

Attention all current Sophomores and Juniors, we need YOU to sign up to be an Advisement Leader!!  We have extended the due date of the application until April 25th, so if you are interested in being a Leader, then go online to the LHS website and fill out an application as soon as you can!!  Being a Leader in the Advisement program will earn you 2 elective credits, CAS hours and a chance to make a difference in an incoming Freshman's life.  So, sign up today!!
