Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girls varsity soccer team on their two - nil victory over Legend High School last night. Stephanie Kern-Allely and Carli Murray scored the goals and goalkeeper Shayna Watkins had ten saves and the shutout. Great job ladies!

The JV soccer team extended its winning streak yesterday with a 2-1 win over Legend. Goals by Tanya McCann and Nicolina Slencovich and great goalkeeping from Katie Roskam and Luz Torres lead the way to victory.

Sports Announcements:

Open gyms for girls basketball is TONIGHT from 6:00-8:00.  All girls interested in playing basketball are welcome to attend.  Let's get back on the court!

Attention EVERYONE!  Don’t forget to wear your Class T-shirts this FRIDAY!! You could win some prizes if you are wearing yours for the Spring Sports Assembly!  So, dig it out of your drawers and come with your best LION SPIRIT!

PROM Announcements:

“PROM Guest Forms” are due today!

Attention Seniors and Juniors!  We have many fabulous prizes to give away at after prom for those who pre-purchase their tickets at school including a years worth of free carwashes or 2 tickets for the upcoming cirque du soleil show this summer.  We have many gift cards to restaurants and local business to give away as well, so don’t forget to buy your after prom tickets TODAY and TOMORROW at lunch and get your name in the drawing!!

PROM tickets are on sale now.  Tickets will be sold out of the bookkeeper’s office during BOTH lunches. The price is $40 for all Juniors and non-LHS students.  All seniors are FREE!

Raffle to help Prom--check out the quilt hanging in the library; it is being raffled off to help with the cost of Prom this year!  Tickets are $2 for 1, or $5 for 3 for this gorgeous quilt!

Club Announcements: 

DECA members, please remember there is a group meeting after school TODAY in room 124 to elect our new president.  Please be to the room by 2:20 for speeches to begin.

Key Club - we have a meeting TODAY at 2.20 in room 211.  If you have orders from the Women's Bean Project, please try to stop by at least briefly to pick those up!

Academic Announcements: 

Attention all current Sophomores and Juniors, Friday is the last day to submit your application to be an Advisement Leader!!  Application is online.  Being a Leader in the Advisement program will earn you 2 elective credits, CAS hours and a chance to make a difference in an incoming Freshman's life.

Spring time reminder from Campus Security – Students, you cannot be in hallways during class periods.  If you do not have class you need to be outside, in the cafeteria or the library.  Thank you!

Blog Announcements:

To the Parents of Juniors and Seniors: after-prom is a PTO sponsored event that is open to ALL LHS juniors and seniors. Students do not have to attend prom in order to go to after-prom, and the more the merrier! All juniors and seniors can purchase tickets to after-prom and have a great time with their friends at Brunzwick Zone.  Please encourage your Junior or Senior to attend.  This is a SAFE and FUN environment for our students after hours!

The Writing Center is open weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30-2:30 in the Library.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Students, please note that the price of the school breakfast and school lunch will increase on Thursday, May 1st.  This is due to a federal mandate; we are mandated to increase the price.  Breakfast will cost $1.75, Lunch will increase to $3.00.
The DECA store will now be open from 8:30AM to 10:00 AM each day for LHS students to shop.  This will be the only times to get your tasty DECA store treats.
