Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Tennis team for their 7 - 0 victory yesterday against Wheat Ridge in the season's first match. Come see the boys battle against Arvada after school today in the first home match.

Congratulations to the JV boys soccer team who defeated Rampart yesterday 3 to 0. Justin Schreiber, Adam Tinucci and Emmanuel Cooke scored for the Lions.

Club Announcements: 

Attention all Freshmen who are running for a Student Council office; please make sure you turn in your speech and the packet to Ms Prestel by WEDNESDAY Sept. 3rd.  Remember, if she does not get your packet you will NOT be able to run! Thanks!

FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) will be having their second meeting of the year this Thursday, after school in room 120.  We will be holding officer elections. Everyone is welcome to attend.

FBLA will have a meeting this Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 2:20 pm in Room 124.  Come and hear about our plan for Homecoming.

Other Announcements:

Attention Seniors-  Senior photos are due this Friday, September 5.  All Senior photos must be given to Mrs. Fisher by Friday, either via email or on a disc.  See Mrs. Fisher with questions.

Guest Forms for Homecoming Dance are available in Student Services and Main Office.  They are due on Sept. 18, 2014.

Blog Announcements:

The Choir Department is holding its third annual Garage Sale and Car Wash fundraiser on Saturday, Sep 6, 8am-12pm, in the Littleton High School front parking lot, to help with the cost of choir outfits for the Troubadours and Syrens.  Donation items for the garage sale would be greatly appreciated, and can be dropped off in the theatre lobby Thursday Sep 4, Friday Sep 5, or the day of the garage sale, on Sep 6, between 7am-8am. (All unsold items will be donated to charity after the sale.)
Volunteers to help set up and assist during the event are needed as well.  Come out and show your support for the choir department on Saturday Sep 6!  Bring your friends and family!

LHS ENCORE! is hosting a meet and greet BBQ before the Collage Concert on Wednesday, Sep 10, at 5:00pm, in the LHS front lobby.   Everyone is welcome and proceeds benefit LHS Performing Arts. Advance tickets can be purchased from Mr. Farrell in the choir room, for $6 each OR 4 tickets for $20.00. (Tickets are $7 each OR 4 for $25 at the event.) The menu includes: BBQ pulled pork or chicken sandwiches, salad, bottled water & dessert. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and meet your LHS Encore! board members and other performing arts families. The FREE Collage Concert follows the BBQ, at 7pm, in the LHS Theatre.

Ping Pong Club is in need of two (2) gently used ping pong tables. If you have one that no longer serves a purpose in your home and wish to donate, please contact Suzanne Mountfort at smountfort@lps.k12.co.us or 303-347-7715.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Juniors and Seniors, listen up!  If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater, you are eligible to be an honorary member of National Honor Society.  NHS is the oldest and one of the most respected student recognition organizations. To see if you are eligible, look at the bulletin board next to the counseling office.  Students who are eligible are listed by student ID #.  If you are already a senior member you do not need to re-apply.  Pick up your packet at the counseling office.
