Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Good Job Boy's Golf Team!  Yesterday, golfers Jacob Fuchs, Zach Huffer, Anders Olsson, and Scott Robb defeated Arapahoe and Heritage and brought home the HAL Cup.  It's been 12 years since the Lions last won the Cup - congratulations golfers on a great ending to a successful season.

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity volleyball teams who defeated the visiting D'Evelyn Jaguars, last night at home. The JV team won in two sets in an exciting come from behind victory in the second set with a score of 25-22. The Varsity team won an exciting marathon match. The defensive player of the match was Kayla Spakaoff with 34 digs and was near perfect in serve receive. Top point scorers were seniors Kathryn Gerken and Haley Hannah, junior Maya Sojberg and sophomore Mallory Burbage. The four players combined for 44 kills in the match. Congratulations ladies!

Congratulations to your LHS "Lion Pride" Marching Band on their performance at yesterday's Regional Marching Band Competition, the Band and Colorguard successfully qualified for the State Marching Band Championships!  Go Band!
 
Special Events:

Please come out to cheer on our Ultimate Frisbee team competing against Arapahoe TODAY.  Game time is 3:30 on grass soccer field.

THE STRIDE is a community 5K and 10K running and walking event coming on Sunday, October 26. It is organized by the Littleton Foundation to raise money for our schools, and financial awards are given to the schools that have the most participants. Last year LHS beat out Heritage and Arapahoe and we received one thousand dollars for our school. We want to win again this year and we need your help. You can sign up for THE STRIDE online through our school webpage. You can also get a registration form from the counseling office, the main school office, or any of the PE teachers. Get your registrations in now and help LHS win again!

Sports Announcements:

All interested partners for unified basketball please come to a brief meeting October 22 at 2:30 in room 105.  We will be handing out important papers for partners to fill out in order to participate.

Attention all boys lacrosse players: if you are interested in playing lacrosse in the spring, you have a mandatory meeting for you and your parents on Wed. Oct. 29th in the Forum at 6 pm.  See you there!

Club Announcements:

There will be a brief meeting for the World, MUN, and Colorado Clubs TODAY in room 206 at 2:20pm.

ATTENTION all Student Council Officers, Ambassadors and General Council members, there is a General Council meeting on Monday Oct. 20th in the forum starting at 2:20--please be there; we will be handing out your Halloween O Grams and talking about Halloween week events.

Academic Announcements: 

Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here TODAY from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.

TODAY - College Days at Littleton High School continues.  A list of visiting colleges is posted outside of the Counseling office.  This is a great opportunity to find out about different programs colleges around the country have to offer.

Juniors & Seniors:  Please return all Concurrent Enrollment paperwork to Mr. Puchino by the end of the school day on Wednesday, October 22nd.  If you still have any questions or need assistance, please see your counselor.

Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors, if you missed the Academic Awards reception on Monday evening, please go to the main office pick up your award packet!
