Today is an EVEN Period Day – Periods 2.4.6.8

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The boys tennis team had a phenomenal performance at the regional tournament, finishing in 2nd place. Gritty, 3-set victories by senior co-captains Nathan Schultz and Seth Goldstein, and yet another come from behind win from junior Jake Anderson led the way. A special congratulations to state qualifiers Nathan Stauffer, Michael Craig, and Seth Goldstein who will head to Pueblo next week for the season ending tournament.

Congratulations to our JV and Varsity volleyball team who defeated the visiting Evergreen Cougars. JV won in a tight two game battle, 25-23 and 26-24. The varsity also swept the Cougars 3 games to 0. Sophomore Emma Parkhurst ran the offence with 27 assist and senior Haley Hannah finished with 12 kills and 2 blocks. Both senior Kathryn Gerken and sophomore Mallory Burbage finished with 9 kills. Thanks to all the fans who donated and came out to support the girls for the Pink Out match.

Congratulations to your LION ULTIMATE mixed team on their 15-6 win against Collegiate Academy of Colorado yesterday. Both teams were undefeated going into this game and your LHS Ultimate team is still undefeated.
