Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

A fantastic 2-0  win by the boys varsity soccer team last night against Evergreen High School. Connor Price and Sam Korff  scored the goals.

Congratulations to the Sophomore, Junior Varsity, and Varsity volleyball teams who came away with wins Tuesday night at Golden High School! The varsity beat the Demons in 4 games with several players contributing both offensively and defensively. Haley Hanna, Mikalen Cox, Katheryn Gerken, Mallory Burbage, and Maya Sjoberg scored for 6 or more kills, while setter Emma Parkhurst ran the offense. Congratulations ladies! Come out TONIGHT as the volleyball team takes on the Arvada at home!

Special Events:

THE STRIDE is a community 5K and 10K running and walking event coming on Sunday, October 26. It is organized by the Littleton Foundation to aise money for our schools, and financial awards are given to the schools that have he most participants. Last year LHS beat out Heritage and Arapahoe and we received one thousand dollars for our school. We want to win again this year and we need your help. You can sign up for THE STRIDE online through our school webpage. You can also get a registration form from the counseling office, the main school office, or any of the PE teachers. Get your registrations in now and help LHS win again!

Club Announcements: 

Key Club will meet in room 211 on TODAY at 2.20 p.m.  If you have not yet paid your dues or turned in your permission slip, please bring them to the meeting or put them in Mr. Hahn or Ms. Anthamatten's mailbox.

DECA members - You have an important meeting in room 124 after TODAY.  Please be there by 2:20, and see Mr. Decker ASAP if you are not able to attend to set up another time to meet individually.

Academic Announcements: 

Juniors and Seniors - Two college representatives will visit with students today in the Counseling Office: The University of Kansas at 11:30, and Davidson College at 1:30.

Starting tomorrow, we begin College Days at Littleton High School, with dozens of representatives coming to our school each day until Fall Break.  Check who will be here on your Naviance accounts or on the sign outside the Counseling Office. This is a great opportunity to find out about different programs colleges around the country have to offer.  We encourage you to attend at least a few!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: The last day to sign up for the PSAT test is tomorrow. Friday, October 10. Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20.

Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors, if you missed the Academic Awards reception on Monday evening, please go to the main office pick up your award packet!

We are the Inspirlions, a school organization determined to display the talented work of our students and staff to the rest of the world. How can you get your work in? It’s simple. Go to the back of our sample issue located on the school home page. From there you will find instructions on how to get your submissions to us. And keep in mind our next issue will be Halloween themed, but we will consider all works for this and future issues.
