Student Council wants to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all the students at LHS!  You all are the most giving and caring group of kids around!!  We collected 152 coats for Colorado and you bought and amazing $1800 worth's of Musana gifts--including 70 chickens--from the Musana booth!! We are overwhelmed with the support given to both of these events!!  Thank you so much!!  If you did not have a chance to give or want to do more for Musana, the Giving Snowman starts this week!!

Club Announcements:

Attention all Student Council Officers, Ambassadors and General Council members, there is a General Council meeting TODAY in the forum starting at 2:20.  Please be there, since this is our last one of the semester!

It's here again! The December issue of INSPIRLIONS, the LHS literary and art magazine is now available on-line. Go to the LHS School Web Site and click on the link. Read poems and stories by your classmates and teachers, and see artwork and photographs as well. The next INSPIRLIONS meeting is after school Tuesday in room 112.

World Club is running a canned food drive for Metro Caring.  We will be collecting canned goods until December 8th.  Please bring any non-perishable foods, canned foods, or unused toiletries to the social studies office, the forum, or the Library.

LAST CHANCE to donate new or gently used sports equipment - Key Club is conducting a sports equipment drive and needs YOUR new or used sports equipment for refugee and immigrant youth from Bhutan, Burma, and Rwanda now living in Denver.  Please bring your donations to the DECA store during A and B lunches.  We will collect equipment until Friday, December 5th.

Special Events:

What do a pair of kids whistling, a student playing a guitar and two dancing ladies have in common? No, it's not a new Christmas carol....its LIONS FOLLIES!!  Buy your tickets starting TODAY!  You can buy your tickets in the cafe during lunches on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday this week.  They will also be on sale after school starting Thursday.  They are $5 for general admission and $7 if you want a reserved seat.  LIONS FOLLIES performances are Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 6pm.  Come and see the best talent at LHS!

Blog Announcements:

Hello Littleton High School families! LHS PTO will be organizing the After-Prom Bake Sale fundraiser in conjunction with Lions Follies Variety Show, coming up December 5th and 6th. With the holidays fast approaching, we will have a variety of delicious treats available for purchase. In addition to cookies, brownies and bars to enjoy during Lions Follies intermission, this year we will have goodies on hand to purchase for holiday gift giving. Please remember to bring extra spending money to help support After-Prom, and get some of your holiday gifts purchased! These yummy treats are perfect hostess gifts, office gifts and stocking stuffers and will be available both nights of Lions Follies. We will also provide coffee, hot cider and water.  This is a fun evening to help with the bake sale, too, so please see the link below to volunteer. If you have a yummy recipe to share with other Littleton Families, please check out the link and sign up to bring that special treat! www.SignUpGenius.com/go/60B0548A4A92DA75-bake/2720983.

Attention students:  Ms. Mann's advisement has a challenge for you: Let's recycle more than we throw away.  The cafeteria is a great place to start.  By now you've noticed the big blue recycling bins along side the trash cans in the cafeteria.  There are posters on these bins so you know what goes into the trash and the items that can be recycled.  For example, leftover food should go into the trash, but did you know you can recycle your plastic containers, paper bags and milk cartons?  We appreciate your help!
