Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Congratulations to the Lady Lion volleyball teams who swept the visiting Arvada Bulldogs. Freshman won their first match of the season with a two game sweep. Sophmores, JV and Varsity all swept their opponents as well. Congratulations to Maya Sjoberg who lead the Lions offense with 8 kills. The Varsity girls served tough on the night with 16 team aces. Congratulations ladies, keep up the good work.

Jazz in the Lobby today for all you Cool, LHS "Lion Cats".  See you there and catch some tunes by your very own LHS Jazz Ensemble

THE STRIDE is a community 5K and 10K running and walking event coming on Sunday, October 26. It is organized by the Littleton Foundation to raise money for our schools, and financial awards are given to the schools that have the most participants. Last year LHS beat out Heritage and Arapahoe and we received one thousand dollars for our school. We want to win again this year and we need your help. You can sign up for THE STRIDE online through our school webpage. You can also get a registration form from the counseling office, the main school office, or any of the PE teachers. Get your registrations in now and help LHS win again!

Club Announcements:

A friendly reminder to all National Honor Society Students that your next meeting is on Monday, October 13th at 2:20 p.m. in the Forum.  Please see Mr. Hahn or Ms. Fritz if you have any questions or are unable to attend.

Academic Announcements: 

Starting TODAY, we begin College Days at Littleton High School, with dozens of representatives coming to our school each day until Fall Break.  Check who will be here on your Naviance accounts or on the sign outside the Counseling Office. This is a great opportunity to find out about different programs colleges around the country have to offer.  We encourage you to attend at least a few!

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: TODAY is the last day to sign up for the PSAT test.  Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20.  PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 15.

Students, the Library will close today at 2:30pm.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

A fantastic 2-0  win by the boys varsity soccer team last night against Evergreen High School. Connor Price and Sam Korff  scored the goals.

Congratulations to the Sophomore, Junior Varsity, and Varsity volleyball teams who came away with wins Tuesday night at Golden High School! The varsity beat the Demons in 4 games with several players contributing both offensively and defensively. Haley Hanna, Mikalen Cox, Katheryn Gerken, Mallory Burbage, and Maya Sjoberg scored for 6 or more kills, while setter Emma Parkhurst ran the offense. Congratulations ladies! Come out TONIGHT as the volleyball team takes on the Arvada at home!

The JV boys soccer team continued it's undefeated streak in league play with a 3 to 1 victory over Evergreen yesterday. Scoring goals for the Lions were Jack Sadler, Manny Cooke and Kwaku Dubeng. Way to go!

The World, Model UN, and Colorado Clubs will meet TODAY at 2:20pm in room 206. All students who have signed up for the Kent Denver Model UN Conference this weekend need to attend.

Girls’ lacrosse is a no-cut sport and the team encourages all players – both experienced and new – to be part of their program. The team is hosting fall fun toss-arounds with games & prizes! It's a great chance to come out and see if lacrosse is for you! Join us on October 9th or 14th from 2:30 – 3:30 on the Heritage soccer fields – equipment will be available for anyone to use. The team will also announce a date for Littleton HS, but players are encouraged to attend any of the toss-arounds. Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7

Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Congratulations to your LHS "Lion Pride" Marching Band for their solid performances at the Pomona Marching Invitational on Saturday.  The Band qualified for the Finals performance at this event for the first time in school history.  In the Finals, the Band moved up a spot and improved their overall score.  Go Band!!!

The LHS Cross Country team ventured south of Colorado Springs on Saturday for the TCA Titan Invitational.  The boys team took fifth, with Colin Cannon leading the charge in fifth-place.  Tommy Kail and Bruce Barnstable finished in the top 20.  Tyler Fuller and Sam Bateman rounded out Littleton's scoring.  The girls team was seventh, and once again, Addi Iken was the top Lion, in sixth-place overall.  Following her were Magda van Leeuwen, Claudia Kramer, Clemence Auzias, and Madeline Espinoza.  Attaway to roar, Lions!

Congratulations to the Men's Soccer C Team on another thrilling come from behind victory! The boys beat Regis Friday 5-4. Alexis Villas lead the lions scoring with two goals, Nasr Ali Abid and Jesus Acosta each added a goal and Michael Melton provided great support with an additional goal.  Cheer on the team as they play at Regis today for a rematch.

Congrats to the Heritage/Littleton Varsity Softball team.  They are going to post season playoffs.  GREAT job!!!

Sports Announcements:

Open gyms for girls basketball is this evenings, from 6:30-8:30.  Anyone interested in trying out in November is welcome to attend.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Picture re-takes are scheduled for Tuesday, October 7. Students who missed picture day at the beginning of school year may stop by the theater lobby during an off period or lunch to have a picture taken. Also, students who are not happy with their first picture may bring the entire picture packet into the photographer and a new picture will be taken. Order forms may be picked up in the main office any time before picture day and should be given to the photographer at the time of pictures.
