The Beauty and the Beast musical production is here.  Performances start Thursday ending Saturday with a matinée and an evening show.  Get your tickets now. You will not want to miss out!

Club Announcements:

The Colorado, World, and Model UN" clubs will meet this Wednesday at 2:15 in room 206. This meeting is essential for any students participating in The Fossil Ridge Model UN Conference

Keyclubbers!  Remember we have a meeting after school on Thursday in room 211. If you plan to attend the Project CURE event this Saturday, you must bring your paperwork to the meeting or put it in Mr. Hahn or Ms. Anthamatten's box by the end of the day on Thursday.

Key Club will be collecting gently used soccer, volleyball and lacrosse equipment all week to donate to an organization that runs sports teams for under served populations in Denver. Needs include shirts, shorts, socks helmets and shin guards in children's and youth sizes, balls, sticks, nets and anything else you can think of. Bring your unused sports equipment to our collection boxes in the library or the counseling office this week!

Please join us at the LHS Fall Color Guard clinics and auditions starting March 10 from 6-8pm. Meet in the main lobby, dressed in workout attire.  Please see Mr. Don Emmons for more information.

Academic Announcements:

Junior Advisement is TOMORROW on Late Start Wednesday from 7:20-9:00 a.m.  All Juniors are required to attend this Junior Advisement session.  Students with last names beginning with A-L need to report to your assigned classroom at 7:20am.  Last names beginning with M-Z report to classrooms at 8:05am. Report to the Business Hallway classroom to which you’re assigned. Remember, no bus transportation will be provided for this early session. If you have questions, stop by Post Grad.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Other Announcements:

Attention students: Beginning March 2 we will begin construction on an athletic addition on the east side of the building.  This will impact parking.  In the interest of safety and traffic during the day, staff will park in the stadium lot and enclave.  Students will have access to the forum/cafeteria lot on the south side of the building, all of the main entrance lot, and the north lot outside the tech lab and woodshop area.  You will notice parking maps posted around the school this week explaining this change.  Again this change will take place on Monday, March 2

Blog Announcements:

Attention students interested in travelling to Costa Rica in the summer of 2016: Mr. Marshall will host an informational meeting this Thursday at 6:00 pm in the Forum.

Hearing and Vision screening will take place this week.  All Freshman will be tested. Sophomores who are new to LHS will also be tested.  If you wear contacts or glasses please bring them with you.

Join us for the 4th Annual Littleton High School Performing Arts Music & Craft Fair, on Saturday, March 14, 9am-4pm, in the LHS Cafeteria & South Gym.  Enjoy live music provided by LHS students, and breakfast and lunch items from our concessions, while you shop our wide variety of unique, hand-crafted items made by local artisans.  And a special treat this year: A meet & greet / pictures with Belle from the LHS production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" (11-12 and 1-2)!  $1 Admission (kids 5 and under free).  See you there!

INSPIRLIONS! Students - check out the HUGE February Issue now on-line. Fifty pages of your classmates' poems, stories, artwork, and photography. Access it from the school homepage or from Facebook. And don't forget to submit your own drawings and writings for our next issue. Ask your language arts teacher how to contribute.

Attention first generation Seniors!  Looking for a scholarship?  Maybe the Merkle is for you!  You are eligible if you will be a first generation college student, you have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75, you have financial need, and you are active in your school or community.  This scholarship is available only to students from Manual High School or Littleton High School, so the odds are in your favor!  The award is $2,000 - $10,000, and the deadline is March 16th.  Don't miss the opportunity to apply for this scholarship!  Come to Post Grad to learn more and pick up the materials.
