Academic Announcements:

Attention all juniors that do not have a world history or European history class:   You will need to go to the forum on a free period to pre bubble for the ACT on Monday, April 6th or Tuesday April 7th.  It will take you most of the period, so please arrive at the beginning of the period.   5th and 6th periods will start at 11:05.   Also, if you miss world history or European History on Monday April 6th please try to come to one of the bubbling sessions on Tuesday April 7th.   If you miss on the 7th please come by the counseling office as soon as possible.

An admissions representative from Fort Lewis College in Durango will be in the Post Grad Center TODAY, at 10:30 am and an admissions representative from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs will be in the Post Grad Center on Tuesday, April 7th, at 9:30 am.  You can sign up to attend on the Home page of your Naviance account, or you can stop by Post Grad.  

Club Announcements:

Attention all Student Council officers, ambassadors, and general council members, we have a VERY IMPORTANT General Council meeting on Monday April 6, after school in the forum--we are talking about Make A Wish Week!

Special Events:

Make A Wish Week is coming to LHS the week of April 20th.  Today some Student Council kids will be coming into your Social Studies and Language Arts classes to tell you about what YOU can do to help us reach our goal!  More information about the fun activities planned can be found in the blog section of the daily announcements.

Blog Announcements:

Paint Recycling Fundraiser to raise money for After-Prom will be held on Saturday, April 4, from 10 am - 2 pm.  Clean out that basement and garage, get rid of all those old, latex paint cans.

Students, parking passes are sold out.  If you do not have a parking permit you are not allowed to park in the LHS lot, you must find parking on the streets.

Hey Littleton High School parents! Don’t miss out on SpringFest, the Booster Club social event of the year! Come celebrate all things athletic with fellow Littleton sports enthusiasts! RSVP now for our annual party, and come support our players while catching up with LHS friends. The fun starts at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 10th at Glenmoor Country Club. Tickets are $25, which includes appetizers, dinner & dessert.  RSVP now to jbtinucci@comcast.net.  Thanks for supporting Booster Club!

FBLA  5th Annual Shred-A-Thon, Saturday, April 11, 9 am to noon in the LHS South parking lot. Cost per paper sized box is $10 or 3 boxes for $25 and is completely tax-deductible.

Auditions for the 2015-16 Select Choirs are taking place every day from now until Friday, April 10th. You could be a member of the Concert Choir, Syrens, Troubadours, Chordially Yours, Manwich or Vocal Jazz next year.  Ask a current choir student for details or see Mr. Farrell.

Prom guest forms will be available in student services and the main office. They will be due on April 23, 2015.

Make A Wish Week is coming to LHS!!  In case you aren't sure what this is, it is a time when schools come together in the spirit of giving in order to grant a last wish to a kid who has a terminal illness. Littleton High School is doing Make A Wish week from April 20-24th.  Our teenager is named Quinn and she wants to be an actress!  We are raising money to send her to Hollywood for some acting seminars, to see Universal studios and to just have a great time fulfilling her WISH!  We need to raise $10,000 to do this! Today and tomorrow some Student Council kids will be coming into your Social Studies and Language Arts classes to tell you about what YOU can do to help us reach our goal!

Make A Wish Band Playoffs!!  If you have a band that you are a part of and want to play against other bands here in the school, sign up in the theater and choir hallway starting on Monday April 6 to get your band in the Make A Wish Band Playoff Night on Thursday April 23rd!  The winner will get to play at the Spring pep rally and could possibly get some air time on 93.3fm radio!!  It costs $20 per band to enter.

Do you like PIE?  Would you pay a buck to throw pie in a teacher's face?  Well, that can happen during Make a Wish Week!  Check out the buckets in the cafe starting next week, and put money into the teacher's bucket you would MOST like to throw a pie at...the 4 teachers with the most money collected by April 17th will be in the courtyard during both lunches on the 20th for you to throw pies at!!  Vote LOTS of times--all the money goes towards Quinn's Wish!

BINGO!  Don't you just love to play BINGO!  If so, come by on Wed. April 22nd and play BINGO for Make a Wish Week!  It's only $2 per card and you buy up to 5 cards.  Bring all your friends--there will be ice cream too!!

Finally, Dodgeball is BACK!!  Remember having a BLAST during Homecoming playing Dodgeball?!  Well you can relive that moment by signing up for Make a Wish Dodgeball happening on Tues. April 21st.  Teams have to have a minimum of 6 players--no max.  It costs $30 per team to play.  Sign up sheets will be out next Wed. the 8th on the bulletin boards in the Language Arts hallway.
