Today is an EVEN Period Day – 2.4.6.8.

Academic Announcements:

Attention freshman and sophomores the Littleton Public Schools Educational Technology Advisory Committee is accepting applications from students. If you are interested in technology and would like to contribute ideas to technology initiatives in the schools, apply today! The committee meets at 6:30 pm on the last Wednesday of the month during the school year. Meetings rotate among the Littleton schools. Please come to the main office for information on filing out an application.

An admissions representative from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton will be in the Post Grad Center TODAY at 9:30 am and an admissions representative from the University of Kansas in Lawrence will be in the Post Grad Center on Thursday, April 16, at 1:00 pm.  You can sign up to attend on the Home page of your Naviance account, or you can stop by Post Grad.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Club Announcements:

FCCLA has a meeting this Thursday, after school in room 120.  We will be finalizing plans for the bake sale, so please do not miss this meeting.

Prom Announcements:

Prom tickets on sale now and going all week during lunches.  Prom tickets will be available in the cafeteria. They are $40 for all non-LHS students and non-seniors OR $45 if you would like to donate $5 to the Make a Wish campaign.  Seniors, your tickets are free, just bring your school ID to prom to show at the door!

Prom guest forms will be available in student services and the main office. They will be due on April 23, 2015.

Attention Juniors and Seniors.  As you may have learned, this year's prom will be at the Highlands Ranch mansion.  There will be more information to come, but you need to be aware of the parking situation. There is very limited parking at the mansion, and you will only be allowed to park there if you have a parking pass.  There will be staff and Douglas County police officers at the entrance, so if you don't have a pass, you may not park at the site.  However, there is plenty of parking at Mountain Vista High School, just about a quarter mile away, and we will have busses to take you to and from the dance.  If you do happen to get a parking pass, would you please organize a carpool.  Otherwise, make sure you plan to park at Mountain Vista High School.  There is more information to come.

Blog Announcements:

Attention Sophomore and Juniors.  The University of Colorado at Denver wants YOU!  They have invited any and all of you who may be interested in learning more about UCD to attend their "Preview Day" on Friday, April 24th at the Auraria Campus.  To find out more and to sign up to attend this free and exciting event, simply Google "Preview CU Denver".  This is a cool event that will give you terrific insight about the college experience at CU Denver.

Attention all students who may be interested in attending one of the military academies like the Air Force Academy, West Point, the Naval Academy or the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. A free information day will take place at South High School on Saturday, April 25th from 1:00-4:00pm. You'll learn about the process of getting nominated in order to apply to these very special academies. If you have questions about the military or the military academies, see Mr. Puchino in the Counseling Office.

Make a Wish t-shirts are still available.  If you did not get your order in on Wed, you can still order a t-shirt, just drop off your order form to Ms Prestel's desk in the Social Studies office or take it to the bookkeeper before or after school-only.  You can pay now, or when you pick up your shirt starting on April 21st.  Thanks for supporting Make a Wish!

Seniors, get on the map!  Have you decided where you're going to college?  If so, stop by the Post Grad Center and let us know.  We'll put your picture with your name and college on the maps outside the cafeteria and in Post Grad!
